happy monday all
hope everyone had a good wkend. i had a nswkend so very pleased with that.
just made £17 with a company called cash4clothes. they pay 50p for every kg. was very happy i have finally got some money in my purse that is mine and not to spend on bills lol. think i be wise though and use it on food very frugally mind lol.
forgot to tell you about last week when i was over my friends lol, she was throwing away an orange pepper as some of the outside had started to goa bit wrinkly. i grabbed it off her with lightening speed haha. she just looked at me very oddly until i explained that i would use it. so out of 1 pepper i made a spanish omelette with left overs, also used it in my pasta, and then cut the rest up and froze it. well impressed with my quick thinking.
luv P xx

Hi everyone I doubt if many remember me because I have not posted for at least seven months or so.
I have been jogging along financially wise and not gone into debt which is a very good thing. Some of you may remember that I started to make marmalade to sell and did well, I have expanded a lot since then though and now do scones. shortbread, fruit cakes, banana bread, and biscuits as well as turning whatever fruit is in season into jam. My marmalade is still selling well and I made quite a lot financially during 2011, have now stopped for the winter which is why I'm posting to meet up again with you all. Have added up all the scones I made, both cheese and fruit and it comes to 3,584 and that is excluding any I have made for my family!!!! I think I know now how to make scones !! I shall certainly have another go next year but it did practically take over my life.
I started to read the postings a few days ago and have practically caught up with what is going on for you all, some people have had a hard year but still keep a sense of humour, lets hope that things pan out for them, SS is the first on my mind its seemed to have been really tough for you. Others have lost friends and family and I know from experience that takes some time to go through.
I shall continue hovering and occasionally posting but wish you all good luck for the coming year and a frugal Christmas to everyone.
Please add me to next years list, thanks.Keep to £400 a month on C/C.

:j:j:jLong live Minky the miracle cat!
The vet was very pleased with her and she has even gained a little weight.
I have been given a three month supply of tablets for now.
I had a lovely walk with my walking group this afternoon last one of the year and was treated to a latte in the park cafe.
I had a mini splurge in the charity shops after to alleviate my cat stress and managed to get into a lovely size 12 Joe Browns skirt - I nearly didn't bother trying it on as although I can fit into size 12 jeans now I need a 14 for skirts and sometimes even a 16 depending on the make. It was only a couple of quid so I was happy about that!
I also bought a jumper, a summer top, a book and a Kilner jar which was only 30p.
Enjoyfinacilachallenges I certainly remember you and am sure others do to! XHere dead we lie because we did not choose

Not much to report from me these last few days. Plodding on as you do.
I've knitted another pair of wristwarmers for someone at work. Not very exciting really.
Hope everyone is ok.
