  • morning all

just thought i would share some tips on saving money with cats.

my cats get fed 3 times a day.

i soak a handful of cat bisuits in hot water for about 20 mins, then put 1 spoonful of cat food in bowl mixed with the soft biscuits. it goes down a treat and they seem to like it warm.

also one of my cats is not so keen on the dry biscuits so once a day she has half a weetabix (tesco value) soaked in warm water then add a drop of milk for flavour and she laps it up.

plus if there is any food waste that they will eat they get that as well, not that there is much food waste these days.

    hth
    xx

Have been using food up in the freezer, as I need some space for food for Christmas. Still doing Mr. A's price guarantee and getting some money off the shopping. Been more mindful as to what I get. Got a book for my Mum for Christmas in a cs, which she will love. We have both been catching up with jobs that we have meant to do recently.

I'm off work today :( I never take time off work so I'm feeling guilty. However, I'm coughing so much that I would be no use to anyone today; can hardly breathe some of the time so am just laid on the sofa doing nothing.

Think it'll be a NSD today, I don't intend to go anywhere.

I have a big smile of my face!! Having a good day for once!
Went to town and did my weeks shop for £36, there is finally a new grocers open and I got 2 bags full and a small bag of potatoes for just over £10!
Went to the charity shops, bought 4 Enid Blyton books for boys stockings for £1 each. Also bought a DVD off someone I know for £2 so picked that up, again for the kids for xmas. Most of their pressies are 2nd hand, it's great.
Then went to the library and got a book out about sewing machines as I want to get one.
Came home a thought I'd look what tesco direct had and if I could use the gift card online, ended up swapping £40 worth of clubcard vouchers to £80 and using the gift card my brand new sewing machine cost me £7.40!!!!! I'm very excited but still not going to shop in tescos anymore!!!
