Right that's two of us 'off' Lush, I know Trudij had a problem with their stance over the HSA too....
sorry to snip but I'm also off Lush, similar reasons to Trudj.

Anyway back on topic - 3 UUs/outs :j 1 Boots Expert baby wipes, bought a few years ago during a glitch, given to brother who recently had baby.
2 UUs - Boots baby wash, decanted into a hand wash pump, will be quickly used up as we go through loads of hand wash.
Also another boby wash decanted into a bubble bath wash, again will be used up fairly soon. I only have showers but plenty of people in this house have baths.

Been having a tidy up/ sort out, no need to buy any more Christmas/ birthday presents, have enough to do the 5 years I think, lots of BS stuff so must stay away from there. Also discovered about 25  Original Source shower gels, love them but that's far too much. I reckon I use up one every month or so (does that seem about right?) so again several yaers worth.
No INs so that's always something, although haven't been out anywhere to buy anything and haven't been looking at the BS emails recently!! :A
Hope everyone has a nice weekend. :)
Life is a coin, you can spend it anyway you wish, but you can only spend it once.
Go as far as you can see, and when you get there you'll see further.
Take time but don't waste time
  • Evening all,

I had a glut of UUs today:
    dental floss
    mouthwash
Origins face scrub - this was a generous (50 ml) sample tube from about 10 years ago! WNB - I don't like using scrubs on my face and as a body scrub it was too thick and sticky and clumped up a lot, although probably from age. I ended up chucking it away with quite a lot still inside.
Sanctuary bath creme - this was a gift but WNB as I don't often have baths. It was nice though and had the usual 'Sanctuary' smell.

Splutterers are LUSH shower jelly, mainly because it has disintegrated and half has washed away down the plug, Aveeno body wash and Chanel eye make up remover.

Thanks to McCulloch for the information about LUSH. I had vaguely heard that they supported controversial organisations but am quite put off them now. Although I still really like their toiletries... Hmm!

Thank you everyone r.e. the comments about my hair. :D

One of my friends swears by Lush products. I've never bought them myself. I find the shop so overpowering with all the different smells.:o

    Great news Charlie!

I have never been a fan of Lush products and haven't used any in years. I will not even be tempted to try them again. I was not aware of some of their "activities" - so thanks for that info.

    Welcome iamsalt

I have almost finished my packing for my week's break to London. I am leaving on Sunday and want everything done and dusted tomorrow.

The craziness of the hour posting is due to my return after a night out on the town and in getting ready for bed I have UU the clinique spot treatment gel which must be 6ish years old. WIBA? No as it is nowhere near as effective as the Elemis spot treatment cream.

I also PYON tonight and I kept is simple with Rimmel Serene. I am also back on the fake tan and have been for the past week. What a difference it makes but my poor sheets :(. I am trying to UU my St Tropez as it must be 2-3 years old and I don't want it going to waste. So when I change my sheets tomorrow it is the old sets that will be getting dug out for this summer.

Anyway - I am off to bed.

Have a lovely day tomorrow ladies x

    Morning all,

    2 more UU's to report:
Clinique's dramatically different moisturizing lotion (freebie from Glamour), I didn't find this product anything special so wont buy again
Skin Revivals Eye gel, this is another freebie from 2007 or so. Using this product I realise I am not an eye gel person much more prefer eye cream so I have used this product up by using the gel on the eye lids and eye cream underneath the eyes. I am so pleased to throw this product in the bin.

This summer I am targeting to use up products that are what I call "summer products" that I know I don't want to use in the winter.

I am feeling quite sad this morning after having read on the bbc website what happened in Norway yesterday. How someone could target a youth camp is beyond me, my thoughts are with all those families that have lost a loved one.
No toiletries challenge, started 18/1/2010 - Putting £1 in my savings jar for every item that I use up. Pot 1 to 4 = £261. Pot 5=£23
    Boots points:£39.21. Extra money in 2012:£674.59. In 2013 £603.48. 2014: £85. 2015: £0 :j

I'm expecting to have some birthday related INs over the weekend - OH is going to get me some bits when we're out and about so expect to see that Miss Sporty Nail Varnish I've been hankering after popping up on here - I also intend to get an Impulse spray for use at the beer festival - I don't have anything like that in my stash and can't really use a roll-on deodorant just for a freshen-up!

There's some turquoisy blue Miss Sporty nail varnish that I've been resisting for a few months. I nearly bought Cosmopolitan (?) recently for a freebie nail polish but resisted as I've decided it would be better to spend the money on a nail varnish colour that I've been hankering after. It's cheap too and so I might give in this week.

Congratulations to Lynseydee and fingers crossed for your hubby. Congrats also to Charlie's OH!

I have uu a Honey Soap and a Spa Bath Essence which was used as hand wash.

Almost forgot to confess to the purchase of 3 more tubes of toothpaste . Both OH and I wanted to try the Oral B Pro-Expert Enamel Shield range and it was 342 in Boots. Been into Tesco since and noticed could have got it even cheaper there!

While I was in Boots bought 2 x Deep Moisturising Foot Cream with mint, lavender and marshmallow as I've currently got a jar of this on the go and it reminded me of how much I love it for summer use. It is currently on buy one get one half price. Also bought a tin of Vaseline Lip Therapy as one of my tins will need replacing soon. I came away with a £5 skincare voucher but luckily didn't have time to peruse the shelves (maybe next time!). Off topic, I bought a lovely photo frame which was marked up on the SEL as reduced to £3.29 but when I got to the till it was only £1.53, so a bargain. It's described as a Monroe Frame 6 x 4 and has diamante down one side of the frame, very pretty. They'd only got one left but I shall keep my eyes open in other Boots stores.

Forgot to say that I will be giving a BS Sweet Lemon Shower Gel out of my stash to my friend as part of her birthday present. She has asked for gift vouchers and this will be a little something to go with it that she can open.
