  • Eek, I'm busy for a couple of days and the thread just grows massive!

Congratulations lynseydee on your pregnancy  a good excuse for some pampering methinks! Good luck for your hubby too.

Welcome iamsalt, don't worry about the huge list, we've seen it all ;)

    LadyMorticia your hair is awesome!

I'm ashamed to say I bought one of the S & G beauty bundles - only for the sugar crush! I might keep a couple of bits and eBay the rest (or put them up on Facebook as swopsies if anyone is interested!).

UU Happy Hair days Rosemary and Mint shampoo - WIBA YES! This is brilliant, no nasties in it and its reasonable. Made my hair lovely and soft and didnt aggravate my scalp. I am defo sticking with SLS free shampoos now.

No 7 Pore refining serum - WIBA Yeah I would. It does make the pores look smaller and you can wear it alone with out moisturiser. My pores do look better but I have also been using the Avon clearskin professional cleanser and pads and the moisturiser and that does seem to have shrunk them quite alot. I have also got the BS seaweed pore serum which I shall be using next.

Adilade (Knew I had a reply I'd missed :o), I didn't try the £10 ice cream, where was that? Didn't visit the Armani cafe either. Loved Cold Stone Creamery and Marble Slab Creamery.

Our trip coincided (slightly on purpose) with a relative's henna night and wedding - missed the reception which was a couple of days ago in Oman. That was quite fun, saw some cute guys which is always a bonus :D Met one guy who was on our flight the night of the wedding, but was so sleepy when got off the plane, we forgot to wait for him to say bye! I felt so guilty, still do actually, and I don't even know his surname to try to find him online and say thank you (as he paid for the taxi to the airport). That's a real gentlemanly thing to do I think, as most guys (let's be fair, except my OH (still can't say ex)) go halves.

Today I'm trying to resist BrandAlley. They're offering free shipping today, and they never usually offer that without a catch, like wys £60. I discovered one bottle in stash I thought was John Frieda Straight Ahead shampoo is actually conditioner, so that solves my conditioner crisis as I still hadn't got round to buying any. Also, onto last shampoo in stash (S&G Glad Hair Day), so thinking of buying the TIGI brunette goddess shampoo 400ml and conditioner 750ml. Just worried the conditioner will last forever, though I guess it's :money: Also, the OPI set with the black shatter is tempting me. Oh boy.

At least I'm resisting the silver crackle from nails inc available today to rewards members only :eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:

Maybe I should sit and count my current nail products stash to disuade me..

I'm sure it was in the Dubai Mall as I remember seeing it somewhere near burj khalifa at the top. They had just about every flavour but it was so so expensive:eek: the armani cafe was near all the high end designers I think. There are so many malls I can't remember:rotfl: sounds like you had a good time:D oh and no more nail polishes!

in other news, Lush replied to me about the vanillary solid and have offered to replace it, but how do I explain that I'm tired of the scent and don't want some more!

Well ladies, have been naughty today - have 2 Sanex deodarants & 3 Nivea's body lotion to add to the stash - but they were all bought with coupons (the deodarant only cost 16p!).

Have 2 more UU's - Soap & Glory Hair Supply Hair Mask - WIBA, yes! I already have another in my stash. The other is Asda citrus shampoo - WIBA- NO, found this to abrasive on my hair so ended up using it on my son.

Thank you to Sarah who has added my to the FB swapsies list - I am planning on making a list of everything this weekend & getting it posted.

I use this shampoo and conditioner and love it, but yep it does last forever. I started in Jan and still have the conditioner on the go! I do use an intensive conditioner once a week but still that's good going!

2 INs today from the FB swapsies - CW Salt spray (this was the one too big for letterbox!) and Frizz ease 3 day straight, thanks girls :)

In a really good mood today but not sure why, lol, nothing out of the ordinary has happened but just wanting to smile lots (and spend money, but I'm not going to as I don't have any to spend!)
I'm not complaining though, this is awesome, lol

Got my 4 Ann Summers parties booked to start my party organiser business haha, and got some outside orders from a friend (aparently they were requests from her OH lmao)

    Excellent news Lynseydee & Charlie:T

I've just popped in to report another UU (only the 3rd of the month:mad:) it's the conditioner that comes with the Sublime mousse hair colour, I only need a tiny blob every other wash (otherwise hair is waaayy too greasy). WBA - actually already have done as I need to colour again within the next week as my roots are looking... well terrible actually :o:o:o

was that the godiva 2 in 1 bar? I think because it has conditioner chunks in it, it would crumble as I've heard people say the same thing. I think I may stop buying from there completely. I remember going into the shop once and not understanding why they don't support biodiesel. They told me that it harms forests etc. but I think until we come up with alternatives, it's better than diesel. Similarly, PETA attacked Jamie Oliver for supporting british meat and not telling the country to turn vegetarian. totally unrealistic and a waste of time. Why not support him for doing something that will actually make a difference instead of expecting everyone to follow their beliefs? Lush also covered a canadian flag in tar which I remember angered a lot of people and I don't think was right.

I haven't heard much about the HSA, but what would shouting at abuse at children achieve? why wouldn't they want them to go with their parents?

    *also steps off soapbox* :o

Yes it was Godiva, thank you very much, for the life of me I couldn't remember the name of it, but no surprise there as none of the names are logical.

People who place the rights of animals above human rights really make me angry. I support animal charities and I'm a huge animal fan- I sponsor two dogs with The Dogs' Trust - but I also support Amnesty.

Right that's two of us 'off' Lush, I know Trudij had a problem with their stance over the HSA too.... Re Canada. Tar sands oil may be something Lush have a problem with, but where on earth was the logic in showing such disrespect to the much-loved flag and national emblem of a fellow Commonwealth country?
I have been to Canada. It's a wonderful country. I have dear Canadian friends, one of whom gave me a little maple leaf flag pin that I am very proud to wear on my jacket.
    Sorry for going off topic.
