Does anyone know if I could get any petrol vouchers buying the tuna in Tesco Express store? working away from home at the moment and there's only Tesco express nearby.

I took 3 5p off receipts to Holyhead Tesco petrol station yesterday and the staff said they would only accept one - that you could not put 3 vouchers together. Completely against the words on their website. Unfortunately I didn't have a print out with me, but stood my ground and said that it was there on their website and also in newspaper adverts. I also said, I wouldn't have put that much fuel in my car if I thought I was only getting 5p off a litre! I even went to get a newspaper to try and find the advert. In the end there was a huge queue behind me, so the girl gave in and said "ok, I really shouldn't do this, but will do just this once". Arggh!! I've just printed the page off the website now to keep in my handbag incase this happens again!

I did an online order on Tues and got the 4 pack of tuna for £4, when it arrived I got the 5p voucher plus another voucher as I spent over £50. The vouchers have to be used between 1st July and 31st July but do say on the back that you can use up to 3 vouchers in the same transaction.

I did my main shop yesterday, including one pack of tuna, spending just over £50. Included in here was some cheap mayo, sweetcorn and spring onions.
I then purchased a second lot of tuna in a seperate transaction for another voucher. They were £4 each.
All 3 were accepted, and my tank went almost empty to full, saving over £10.
The kids will be on tuna sandwiches for the next copuple of weeks, but they do like it anyway. ;-)

Anyone know whether u can buy e-top up voucher as part of the £50 spend? anyone tried it like?
On this site it doesnt say that its restricted from the spend...http://www.tesco.com/petrol-promotion/

Also, slight different point but related slightly...has anyone ever had double clubcard points from buying e-top up vouchers in tesco? they used t do it when the double clubcard pts started but they excluded it a while afterwards.

Yes e-top ups are fine and a good way of bumping up the price if you're close to the £50 spend :)

This has happened to me this morning, only with a slightly different ending. I tried to cash in my three vouchers that I received from my internet shop and the Attendant refused to take 2 of them. Despite me pointing to the poster, she told me that her internet delivery had only come with 1 voucher and two till spits, and therefore I was lying when I said that they were the vouchers I recieved! This in front of a whole kiosk full of people.

I was of a mind to walk out and tell them I wasnt paying for the fuel, but I decided to take her name instead and make an official complaint to Head Office.

Odd - I've never had a till spit for an internet delivery, they've only ever been the generic glossy lable ones. Equally, have never had the generic ones instore, only ever a till spit.

Methinks the Attendant lady doth talk through her a*se...;)
