Quintwins I love the 'tetris' comparison, sooo true, I was doing the same today, but not even with any new food, just that it all fell out when I was looking for the green beansStarting with Avon C6 target sales £150.000 -
69CHICK, ham and lentil soup is one of my favourites, so here it is, of course all ingredients can be subsituted for whatever you have in
take one ham joint (mr t normally has them in their 3 for a tenner) and put in a large pan and cover with boiling water (prob about 1.5-2 pints) and to the water add a chopped onion, leeks, diced carrot, couple of sticks of celery and of course lentil, about 200g, and just let it gently simmer for about 1-1.5 hours
you then have your ham for sarnies and dinner (homemade ham egg and chips anyone??) and your soup, i generally give it a quick blitz and add a bit of the ham to it as well, enjoy!!
btw, i let the ham rest when i open it but i don't rinse it
