Morning all - I've well and truly blown the budget this month (sig doesn't show the full picture yet) We have lots of store supplies, though - I've offer shopped with a couple of free delivery codes (30KG basmati rice, anyone?!
) We'll still need to buy more milk/ bread/ fruit at the least before the month is out. However, I don;t mind thios month for some reason - I think because I know I've only bought a few treat-y items that I wouldn't normally buy, and the rest has gone on rice, tins, packets, cereals (T's 3 for 2) etc - and some whoopsied meats which will be good for future months.
School hols started today for DS1 & 2 - tomorrow for DD. Have made a big tray of sultana & raisin flapjack and some large triple choc/ marshmallow cookies this morning for the start of goodies. They might last the weekend if I'm lucky.....I am the master of my fate; I am the captain of my soulRepaid mtge early (orig 11/25) 01/09 £124616 01/11 £89873 01/13 £52546 01/15 £12133 07/15 £NILNet sales 2024: £200 -
Hi all...My August budget started Tuesday (I run 19th-19th due to DH payday), so far spends have been £5 on milk and bread and a shop today in MrT's for a few urgent bits £5.18..will be going to Aldi tomorrow for a proper shop and update then..
My August budget is £360 which is allowing for a small drop on groceries and then I have budgeted in for the kids lunches as they usually have school meals. Its a hard one really as I don't know how much it will affect the budget with them being off..Starting with Avon C6 target sales £150.000 -
...also don't think I actually declared my July totals which are:-
July total £289.46
Really pleased with that, probably the least I have ever spent in a month with my lot
Off to catch up with your posts..Starting with Avon C6 target sales £150.000 -

Hi all - well, I've had to make educated guesses at grocery spends for the last week or so as partner has been doing it! He doesn't keep reciepts but I'm reasonably happy that I'm within £10 either way... Don't usually leave it to him but had baby 3 on Tuesday and last few weeks of pregnancy were quite tough
So new total for month stands at £156.89.
As we have a new member of the family I will be increasing my budget to £250 for August please.
Hope everyone is wellPart time GCer, NSDer, Comper and (Bad)FlyladyA big shot is just a little shot that kept shooting ...0 -

Just a quick pop in as I'm back from my hols. Hope everyone is fine. Had to run out and stock up on fruit and veg not even an onion in the house when we got back! Should still have enough supplies in the freezer and cupboards to last till the end of the month if I get inventive. Picked up a few recipes for Egyptian dishes while away so will have some road tests and post them up if they are sucessful. We always eat in the local places when abroad, 5 main meals plus cokes just over £9 and it was delish. Happy days."Sometimes life sucks....but the alternative is unacceptable."0
