Spent £2.00 today on some sweeties and a bag of granola on offer at Mr M to stop me buying breakfast at work. Today is the last day of my GC so I am declaring at £284.59, £24.59 over budget:o
Only 17 days at home in August as well as some holiday food to budget for as we are away for 12 days. I will need to work out what my budget forAugust will be over the weekend. I am planning to make as many meals out of the contents of the cupboard and freezer as possible but there isnt a huge amount left in there tbh, DH has only got 1 portion of meat and there are no sausages or quorn pieces to make meals with.Save £10,500 - £2673.77 - 25.5%

I think I've lost track a bit this month :(I have also gone over budget as I've spent £156.31 and I was only meant to spend £130. I really have to try better next month as I keep running out of money each month and then having to raid my savings. At this rate I'm never going to have a house deposit togetherMortgage-free wannabe 2025 £571/30000

cherrypie sorry to hear you are having a hard time , i hope things soon perk up x
i have lost track of the shopping budget, people have been popping to the shops and picking up stuff even though we have plenty in the house  i am trying to round up all the receipts
i need to do a freezer inventory to make some meals up for the hols0 -
Good morning everyone,
hoping to have a day in the house today. Will catch up on household tasks and plan to have a look at dates on tinned goods and meal plan to use up items which are nearing their use by date.
Some tins tend to keep getting pushed to the back of the top shelf and I think some have been there for a very long time.
Hoping for a NSD.It takes a long time to eat an elephant and I'm doing it a bite at a time!!!0 -
Oh well i'm over my challenge, not feeling too bad about it as this was my first try and actually didn't have a clue how much we spent, forgot we are at a craft fair tomoro so needed stuff to pack us up dinner so that didn't help. I have everything for main meals in but will still need mayo and bread and milk throughout the week, hoping not to run out of salad and veg and then I shouldn't go too far over. Will try again next month. To get to Disneyland Florida 20160

Good morning. I should NEVER say anything about hoping not to have to visit the shop the rest of the week. Will be popping in to buy conditioner and wine for this evening and a bottle of lambrini for DD and then I will NOT be spending anything else GC wise till wednesday, I promise, then payday and the new month starts!!!! I should be in just under budget, I can't beleive it actually but i don't think I've been drinking half as much wine this month and that saves alot.
next month will be odd...I'm away for a week leaving my OH and DD alone but am batch cooking plenty of meals and portions of soup for OH's lunches so hopefully they won't go mad. OH won't be spending money on wine but he does like to treat himself to meat when I'm away so we will see. I won't be spending anything much as I'm visiting my mum and I will be doing all the cooking so she buys the food!! Will hopefully get out for a few meals thoughThen when I get back, school's back so everything settles back to normality.
Cooking a feta, potato and olive bake and having it with salad today, maybe a sausage or two. Had to slightly juggle my meal plan about as OH who suffers with IBS is getting a bit of a disturbed tummy from so many exceedingly veggie & pulse laden meals.Grocery challenge October: £228.28/£250.00 NSD 4 ( not completed)
