My son and I are baking some Buns for Children in Need. We are using a small Teddy Bear shaped cutter to make Pudsey. Pics to follow later.

I haven't tried piping with it but I found it similar in consistency to the Betty Crocker chocolate fudge icing, which I have piped on before.
I'd possibly have some additional chocolate on hand to add in case I needed to make it a bit thicker, or some extra sugar.
I didn't write in the original post but that's the recipe for dark chocolate - if you want to use milk you have to get a new recipe. (Although with that much cream it is not bitter.)0 -

I think if you leave it in the fridge overnight then you would be able to pipe it.0 -

Could someone help me out with a recipe for a giant cupcake please? also Annie thaanks for posting the granach recipe and could you tell me how did you ice the bottom of your daughters hithday cake. Did you roll the cake along thi icing like a wheel and how didi you get it in the grooves

I turned the hitting half of the giant cuppie upside down, and covered it with fondant, then once it was upright, I made dents in it with a bamboo skewer, to make it look like a cupcake case0 -

Thanks Annie think I may be being a bit thick here but how did you trim it did you put the larger end face down and what did you put in the middle.Sorry so many wuestiond but want to have a practise cos I am thinking of making one for my friend for ther birthday.
