Well my iced fruit cake has been a hit, as have the test runs of my chocolate and madeira layers.

I used the recipes for madeira and choc fudge you all swear by from Lindy and they are gorgeous, so thank you for posting!

I'm planning to do 6in fruit (to keep for 1st anniversary) 8in Madeira, 10in Chocolate and 12in Fruit layers.
I've used the table on Lindy's site to alter my quantities for each recipe but I can't work out if I'll need to alter the timings. Does anyone have any hints or tips for me?

Skoobie the only advice I can give is to leave yourself plenty of time and then a bit more. And enjoy it x

Hi was looking for a good cupcake recipe and found this thread, and instead of cooking cakes got side tracked looking at all the lovely pictures, would love to join in been baking a while but just recently got a bit more time to practice as dd started pre school in sept she's a demanding little wench but she's just so cute its hard to say no, although being strong as don't want he spoiled, here are some of my recent ones
