21st birthday cake for a very girly girl.

I was silly enough to let the tappits letters set hard before I put them in place and several broke. Just hope they don't start sliding all over the place now. :o

This is the recipe http://cakejournal.com/recipes/best-banana-cupcakes/ and for the caramel centre I boiled a tin of condensed milk for 3 Hours-(you can buy it ready made) and when cupcakes came out of oven and were still hot I injected them with about half of the caramel. The other half I added to my normal buttercream after I'd made it and just mixed it in. Let's just say, there are none left! :D

i made these today and i can confirm they are yummy.

How did you spend your Sunday I spent mine designing these :)

I am doing a craft fair next week thought it would be a good idea to make some small ones to demonstrate. They can be made in 8" or 10" celebration cakes. Hopefully they will bring in a few orders.

I would so love to do this full time instead of on my days of.

hi been loking at all your great cakes, your a talented bunch.i love baking cakes & buns ,but dont have time to decorate them to your standards .use to make all the birthday cakes for my children when they were young,SuperMario, dinosaurs etc usually flat iced & then made a template out of rolled out icing which i coloured etc, clowns always looked effective with hair made of coloured icing pushed through a garlic press. got a couple of days off work so might try & find time to make some cupcakes & try and ice/decorate with abit of more effort .my cupcakes tend to rise in the middle do you trim this off if you use roled out royal icing?as in the animal cupcakes several paces back thanks
