I loved it Kerry! I've bookmarked it too x
Nanamia - I haven't actually made the cake that I rcommended yet! I know what you mean about the 'good quality stuff' being bitter though. I made a dark chocolate ganache and it was too bitter for meIt doesn't say what % cocoa solids you need but further down Lindy recommends at least 50%.

Hi Nanamia
I have made this cake and it is lush I used Asda Dark Chocolate it is on the sweet aisle and I used 2x100g blocks (dark red & black packet with a bar of choc on the front) which was more than enough chocolate as there is alos cocoa in it, if I remember the Asda is 60% cocoa solids

I'd say yes and no......yes you can and it will still be perfectly edible. however, once defrosted the sugarpaste is likely to go a bit sticky and the colours may bleed a little so i wouldn't do it before the event its destined for but its a good way of keeping leftovers if you end up with a load that's not going to get used up.0 -

So excited to being doing my first order, outside family, for a fresh cream fresh fruit egg less birthday cake.
Got to do it footie themed for an 11 year old boy. Its all very last min.com and they need to for sat morning.
I have just finished making some decorations to put on top. Ive done a red footie shirt with 11 on it, some little footie trainers and a red/wht scarf. Managed to pick up a little football pick to add to it as well.
