bindiboo, what gorgeous cakes and I love the multi-coloured icing and the way you've made the petals for the roses. Be the kind of woman that when your feet hit the ground each morning the devil says, "OH CARP, SHE'S UP"! :whistle:0

The Range has Wilton disposable bags in a box, but it would be cheaper to buy some on Ebay. I got my first nozzle from a cake shop but will get more from Ebay as I cant find the Wilton ones near me.“A budget is telling your money where to go instead of wondering where it went.” - Dave Ramsey0

I've made my hubby a valentines cake for tomorrow. He'll have to take it to work though because I'm trying to lose weight! I wish I'd had a bit more time and I would have covered the board.0

Does anyone have a decent buttercream recipe? Mine is never thick enough, and never pipes all that well. It normally comes out like this http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v68/loaded__gun/Cupcake1.jpg

Always double the amount of icing sugar to my quantity of unsalted block butter. I add my flavouring and if it's too thick (which it never has been) I add a splash of milk.0
