Put the ISO or CSO file in the ISO folder on your memory stick. PSX games go in the GAME folder, which can be found in the PSP folder on the memory stick. You then go to GAME on your PSP, scroll down to memory stick and press X. You'll then see what you've put on your memory stick. You should really give the NES and GBA emulators a go - they are excellent. By the way, emulators go in the GAME150 folder, which is in the PSP folder on your memory stick. If there isn't a GAME150 folder there, create it. There are some great homebrew apps available for the PSP, too. Do a google search to find out more.

EdinburghKev: It's perfectly legal to change the firmware on a PSP, or any other console you own. If you don't believe me, go check out some of the PSP sites. You'll see that discussion on how to change the firmware is allowed, but asking where to download games is not. What people choose to do once they've changed their firmware is entirely up to them. No-one here is saying where or how you can download pirate games, and homebrew isn't copyrighted. As for PSX games, you can covert your own PSX games to play on your playstation portable. So, there's nothing illegal in that. You already own the game. You're merely converting it to play on a playstation portable, as well as your original playstation.

I used my fake 2gb stick from ebay to flash my ta082 2.71 psp to 1.50 then up to 3.03 oe and it all went well.

I did have a 1 gig sandisk on order from 7dayshop but that hasnt arrived and I couldnt wait!

I took a risk, but from what I can tell of this fake sony card it appears to behave much the same as any other card, i've used up about 1.5 gigs and seems fine. so icreated one in the game folder
but it said it was a corrupted file when i tried to open the .cso file?
any ideas?

Where did you put the ISO folder? It should be at the root of your memory stick (along side the PSP folder, etc). It is entirely possible that the CSO file is corrupt. Do you have any other ISOs or CSOs to try? The ISO folder should be called ISO - nothing else.

So, no-one on this thread managed to brick their PSPs? I am impressed! There are people on the various psp forums who still manage to brick, even when given very clear instructions. Well done, guys.
