1899's voipcheap, I have realised after receiving their registration email that I am only entitled to 'free' calls longer than one minute if I top up with £10 credit (and £1.60 transaction fee, crafty gits!) is there an alternative which offers truely FREE calls to uk landlines?

    Thanks in advance

and is that a voip service? I am on ntl so cannot go with any other company and although I get relatively cheap calls on 1899 I though I could go one step further should I need to make a call whilst on the computer. Incidentally what is CPS?

    User Name:
    1899 + your phonenumber

    Password:
    your 1899 customer number

    Domain/Realm (optional):
    1899.com

    SIP Proxy/registrar:
    sip.1899.com

    SIP Outbound Proxy (optional):
    sip.1899.com

    STUN server (optional):

I tried to set this up on x-lite but with no success. Could someone confirm that 1899 can still be used with SIP or do I now use voipcheap

    Thanks

1899.com i thought stopped thier voip and changed to voipcheap.co.uk and other rebranded sites

voipstunt used to work (see my reply) but it didn't work for me again the other day but it was a voipcheap username anyway
Order of events: Banks lose our money -> get bailed out -> were inflating GBP to cover it -> now taxing us -> next will grab your funds direct -> things get really desperate to balance the books. What should have happened?: banks go bust and we lost our money much quicker

1899 VoIP was working a few weeks ago, however now it seems to have been pulled.
