    Hi all!

Just wondering if I can join in on this board please? I'm looking to lose about 5 stone in total but just 8 lbs will do for September!!
I've been lurking around the forums for many years but in recent weeks admitting I have a gambling problem (I'm a regular poster on the ex-gambler support thread) I have been looking at many more posts trying to get inspiration and advice on how to make my DFW journey a bit shorter and a bit easier!!
September will be my first month trying this and the NSD challenge...

Is there a specific day that you all prefer to weigh in or is any day ok as long as it's consistent?
As tomorrow is the first of the month I will be weighing in first thing - I hope it's not too horrific (I haven't really been trying to lose weight but hope not to have put too much more on - I have enough to lose as it is!)...

I look forward to hearing how you are all getting on!

Thanks for the welcomes! I have weighed in this morning and although I'm still aiming for 8lbs this month if I can reach 7 I'll be under 14 stone for the first time in over 18months...

    Good luck all x

  • Hi all, well done to those made losses on lb and gains on the ££s. Welcome Sam.

Weighed in this morning and lost another 2lb. Which makes my overall loss 10lb since we started. More effort needed! But on the plus side, I've had a ben n jerry free week this week!

So for September I'll say my targets are 5lb/£300

    Hello peoples,

Right need to get back on track!!

    Hi Sam!! Welcome aboard!!

I weighed myself this morning and I saw 85KG (and .9) but it exists!!! Could be from the mass amount of hair I have had cut off last night but I don't care!! I am pretty chuffed with that!!

It's my birthday next month and we're going in fancy dress - My costume came yesterday - Belle from beauty and the beast!! I love it - I look like a proper princess, if not a fat one but still!!

The plan is I have 5 weeks til my birthday - MUST LOSE 10LBS by then. I'm nomming on breakfast now so that should keep 'hunger locked up til lunch'

I've done pretty rubbish on the ££ front however sold a bit on eBay last week, HAVE to send it all this weekend *yawn* but we are doing a car boot sale on Sunday so that should be good!! I have also quit my second job. I hate it, we have new people there and they talk to me like I am dirt... So screw them it ain't happening any longer! I finish next Wednesday for good - I will miss the money but won't miss the upset!! I have been applying for jobs too... there's one in particular that I have my eye on that I have applied for and REALLY want. It means I am back working in Education AND it's 6 grand more AND it's only 4 days a week! AND I can sell my car and just take the train!! weeeeeeee!

well done everyone with their weight loss, I promise I will update the front page when I have a sec!

    Love love
