Great:)
I just copied the forum archive index and used search and replace on all the urls - had no Idea if it would work
EDIT - "telephone Board" doesn't work because it only contains subforums and doesn't have any posts on its main board so it's not faulty - I'll check the rest later
NOTE: The feed only shows new THREADS not new posts so it's not the same order as on the boards0 -
The main problem I find with Firefox is that ActiveX controls are not supported
This is the idea of using Firefox as your default browser and IE as a backup. If you are just having a surf round and a page doesn't load properly, it's not going to bother you so much.
For a site that you have signed into and need to use, you have to use your judgement whether you trust the company enough to use IE.
It wont hurt to email the company and mention that they require you to use a less secure browser to view their site. If they get enough emails they may do something about it.
Active X is a very weak spot in IE, and this is exactly why it is exploited so much. How many surrealists does it take to change a lightbulb?

Only two sites I have found that don't work with Firefox is Iceland, so switch to IE if you are shopping online Rush, and more recently since an upgrade is Royal Bank of Scotland digital banking.
Thanks for all that work Sra, I am now going to have a play with this RSS list you are talking about0 -
theres an extension that I use called ieview that you just right click on the page and select "View this page in IE" then opens the same page in Internet Explorer!
Very handy!0 -
I've went over the rss list above and removed all the ones that weren't proper feeds
Like the telephones board which wouldn't work because the telephones board doesn't contain posts - just sub-forums
Now the only one that doesn't work is The money Diet. As I said before, when there's two spaces in a title, it mucks up the whole feed. In this case PRIME POSITION FOR THE BOOK IN DUBAI has two spaces between POSITION and FOR.
Hmmmm
If only I could remember who was the guide on The money Diet, I could get them to fix it.0 -
What about my Telephone Boards
Too tired tonight Steve to fiddle with this any longer but I'll pm you in the morning as to how I get this RSS list to look like yours0 -

lol
the feeds for the telephone sub-forums work fine so you could add all 3 to your bookmarks
or this:
http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/external.html?type=rss2&forumids=68,69,14.html
should give you all three sub-forums in telephones in one feed0
