And of course for all you IE users, you don't have to switch to Firefox to get away from IE. There is another great free browser called Opera. There's little difference between Firefox and Opera, but Opera's features all come with the browser. No need to dowload tricky extensions. Most of the great features in Firefox were developed in Opera first.0

I tried Firefox for a month. I found that some sites didn't display properly and others didn't support it eg. The National Lottery
No major problems though. Firefox is easily customised.
However I'm currently using Deepnet Explorer.
It offers much of the functionality of Firefox.
DE was previously mentioned by Foxy back in November.
Anyone currently using it? Any thoughts?

It sounded good, until I found out it still uses the IE browser as it's engine.0 -
A new version of Firefox (1.0.1) was launched a few days ago. It fixes a few bugs (including security problems) present in 1.0. If you do download, just make sure you get the latest version!
The main problem I find with Firefox is that ActiveX controls are not supported but, given what Microsoft says about ActiveX (which it developed), you may not want to use sites that have ActiveX:
Be cautious about allowing Web sites to run scripts or ActiveX controls on your computer. While these items can enhance Web browsing, they can also be a security risk, and it’s best to avoid using them when you can. However, some Web sites or tasks might require them and you will have to decide whether to trust ActiveX controls that Internet Explorer blocks for your safety.
Unfortunately, my stockbroker's website use ActiveX!

Just created a list of the rss feeds for the site
I used search and replace so I don't know if they'll work Ok
I'll post them here for now since I mentioned them above and if they work I'll start a new thread in This Site
As I said before, get this extension then all you have to do is right-click the feed you want (remember to close and restart firefox when you first get the extension)
