    Excellent news Bluebellbunny.

My weight has stayed the same really, currently 174lb, so not a great effort from me in July, but a 3lb loss is better than nowt.

Having said that, August is soon upon us and I will shall behave much better! Dragon, can you put my sw for the other thread as 174lb?

I also discovered today that my body fat has shot up remarkably in the last 4 weeks (up to 43%, blaaarggghhh!). I really have no explanation why, so I guess I'll just keep trying not to eat so much rubbish and get more greens into me. My gym plan has been updated to new levels of evil so I hope August will be a better month.

See you all on the new thread xxx

    Hi.
I haven't been around for a few weeks and have had a really carp month too with several things so MSE and weight loss went out of the window. I`m away from home till Mon so will weigh myself when I get back, i`ll be happy if i've stayed put. I'm another following the mantra of August is new month!

Final weigh in to register another 1 lb loss!! Not a lot, except it pushes me into the 10s!!!!

Final weight for July 153 lb.

Will give August a miss as on holiday and various other events not associated with weight loss, but will rejoin September - hoping not to have regained too much.

    Have a lovely August all

Am glad this month's over...I've put on a pound this week so overall have stayed same for the month. And I thought I'd been quite good this week.
Still, new month, new start and all that...and extra motivation in that my dress fitting has been put back a month so I have more chance of being where I want to be for that IF I can be really good

Last weigh in for the month and after the scale doing a lot of wobbling (must get a digital one I think!) have lost another 2lbs which brings me to 13 this month. Was slightly hoping for the magic stone but have been feeling rather crappy the last few days and done very little exercise so should be grateful for anything really :) Onto next month!!

    Hi all

Kazwookie gave me the link for your thread as I need to lose 7/8lbs by the end of this month before i go to a clinic at the hospital - can I join you pleeeeeeeeeease? I cant exercise due to health but I am trying to do a little on an exercise bike everyday - maybe if I have to report here it will help - I started my eating plan on wednesday so will do a weigh-in on mondays from now on so hopefully I will have a start this week.

Sorry to jump on this but thought I'd tell you about a plan I did...it was very hard, because you don't starve, you eat too much!:P
It's called Michael Thurmonds six day body makeover. You take a questionnaire to discover what eating plan you should follow for your metabolism. Then you follow the plan, which is basically...egg whites, lean protein, fish, green veggies, low sugar fruits and 10 glasses of water for six days. No dairy, no sugar, and def. no salt. You have to eat every 2-3 hours...I really struggled actually. You have breakfast, snack, lunch, snack, dinner, snack....but the snacks are meat/fish and veggies, so really filling. I went down a dress size in one week and lost 8lbs. I was never hungry. I won't lie, it's boring and the lack of choice drives you crazy but for six days you can just about get through it. And the best thing is...after nearly a week with no sugar/salt/dairy...even having a bit of high sugar fruit like pineapply seems like a massive treat...chocolate etc goes right out the window:P Your tastes change. And cutting out salt and drinking so much water means you lose water weight and look less bloated.
Also, after I'd finished the plan...well a few weeks after I had some stressful weeks and went mad on takeaways, rushed sandwhiches and chocolate for lunch etc....didn't put a pound back on.
Sorry again for hijacking your post :P Just wanted to share!:)
