I'm really disheartened today. I've been really good all week. Eaten nothing I shouldn't have, kept a food log and keeping my calories down and exercised EVERY day. I've lost nothing
I'm not going to weigh again now until the end of the month. I may as well have eaten chocolate if this is what hard work means.
Miffed!Smashed through my weightloss target. Looking at 120lbs+ loss. BMI over 40 down to 20.5. Training hard to get body fat under 20%, not far to go now :j0 -
Well done everyone who's lost this week, I'm not one of them this week having put 2lbs on    I'm hoping its because I've gained muscle rather than lost fat which would mean I weigh a bit more, but even so its a bit disheartening
Hoping to see a loss next week though0 -

Morning
Nothing lost this week, sorry to say.
I did go to the gym every day and I am wondering if I am about to suffer from the same thing!
But my OH has pointed out I so far since Jan have lost a third of my body weight, and he reckons I am leveling out!
Good luck for this week everyone.Breast Cancer Now 100 miles October 2022 100 / 100miles

Hello All,
I've been away from this set of threads for almost a month now. But wanted to see how everyone is doing.
I started at 182lbs, yesterday I weighed in at 154lbs, and my doctor says my ideal weight is 147lbs.
I'm not envisioning dropping that 7lbs in 1 month though. I'm slowly planning on easing off the cardio. (From 60 minutes, to 20-30 minutes) And increasing the weight routines to try and add some much need muscle.
So hopefully by the end of the month I can get rid of 2lbs and hit the magical 30lb mark. Then start to focus on the weights, which should still strip some fat alongside my cardio, just at a slower rate - Which is why, i've moved away from this thread.
Good to see the impressive weight losses from some members and the hard work being put in by all.

Poor Siren, Candyapple and Kazwookie. I'm sorry you guys are feeling aggrieved when you worked so hard. Hugs to all of you. Keep at it though guys, you'll get there.
It took me 4 weeks of hardcore gym activity to shift 2lb, but in the process you're building lean muscle which burns calories all by itself after that, so that's a great thing.
I've had a very naughty weekend so I'm expecting to be punished at the scales on Friday. But I'm hormonal, and it's best not to argue with my hormones when they want chocolate and to be lazy, lol!
I shall be repenting for my sins for the rest of the week. I hope you all have a good one xx

Good to see you ShAnE and well done on the loss so far
Those of you that haven't lost but are exercising have you tried measuring yourselves? it could be you are getting trimmer even though the scales aren't shifting!Do not meddle in the affairs of Dragons, for thou art crunchy and good with catsup

How can this be?! Worked my little bootay off at the gym for weeks now and all of a sudden my body fat level has gone UP?!! Bah!!
Please excuse the ranting pointless post, but my real-life friends don't care, lol.
Hope everybody is getting into their week nicely. xx

Hello fellow muscle flexing, scale tipping, carrot chopping, "lets take the stairs" talking peoples....
bit of a huff because Ive been going on long [STRIKE]a_s_s[/STRIKE] walks, hitting the gym, eating properly.... but the scales are being mean (yes i know im not meant to tread on them inbetween weigh ins but i did) and i can't work out why they have gone so far backwards (im not putting the weight because its not a weight i want counted)
grrr. not fair.
but Odly enough today I feel a good bit slimmer and better. I'm not (according to any actual measurements) but I feel like i am. :T
so i am ignoring the scales.
however have worked out a nice little spreadsheet (oh those IT skills from school aren't going to waste) to chart my actual weight loss, what would happen if I lost 2lbs a week and if i lost 3 lbs a week along with bmi and measurements of zzee-body so i can actually see how im doing in charts and stuff. and I am printing out photos of myself (you know the sort the ones where I might have eaten an elephant) to put on the cupboard and fridge in kitchen. and next to them Im also putting photos of bettie page, dita von teese, marylin monroe (getting a picture of who my icons are?) as incentives not to binge on the biscuits
Also found the "little book of slimming tips" in a de-clutter (mother bought me the book a good 10 years ago....)
So I thought I might share- tho some we already know....(this is assuming i have the dragons approval.... shall remove if it is wished)
TIP1 only eat when your physically hungry. -If you dont know if your "really" hungry have a drink of water and do something else for 15/20 minuets. then you'll know for sure.I Love My Library....when I finish/don't like a book, no one gets upset when I return it!Starting 2107lbs this month = 5.5Total loss = 5.5Too many UFOs to count:EasterBun0
