Wow! Been doing the pilates machine for a week now and lost an inch and a half from my waist! Well chuffed with that, but my waist isn't my problem area. I need it to come off my butt :D I'm such an odd shape, I have a 16-18 sized waist but a 24-26 sized bum :( The wii says I've lost a pound since Monday but not taking any official measurements til next week

ha ha Siren you sound just like me....my !!! is huuuuuuuuuuuuge!!

toots and mazy well done to both of you, brill!

Just had my tape measure out, to start with it never went round me! :o:o when it did I wrote the measurements down at the back of my food book, any way today I have lost since the measure did go round me, 2 inches off the top, 3 off the middle, 3 off the butt, so I am well chuffed.:D

stayd the same this week which i cant really complain about considering i had a mcdonalds and a dominos over the weekend lol
  • hey everyone, thanks for your nice words of encouragement.

I am keeping a proper food diary now. and I have had words with the bf so that we are both on the same page as to why im unhappy and grouchy.

the jeans..... well my new sewing macheine (a little ebay treat) came through today so those jeans, along with an old shirt of bfs are being turned into a fabulous dress
(If im siting and sewing I'm not sitting and eating)

also looked into classes in my area, and most of them are pay as u go so if I am working that evening I;m not wasting money on a class im not attending.

Kaz.... my house is a hard one when it comes to keeping the naughty things out. younger brother is so skinny and we are desperatly trying to help him put weight on, where as mother doesnt like to hear "can we not buy so much cheese/crisps/biccies" which are a forever temptation for me. (im addicted to carbs) and requesting veg such as sweet potato, courgette etc is frowned apon because no one else in the house eats them and so they are veiwed as "luxarys" ( this is why I am growing my own salad and having a go at basic veg)

but never mind because after two days at bfs flat (where there is hardly any food so no snacking and its across the road from my gym) I feel much better.

    sorry for long post

Morning peeps! How has everybody's week been?

Finally, after 4 weeks of hard graft it seems my body believes I'm serious this time. Got on the scales last night and have dropped an impressive 3lb since I joined last week. :j So that's me weighing in at 174lb now. Woo!

Only 4lb more to go this month and two weeks in which to do it. Just have to keep motivated and not "celebrate" my loss by slacking off the gym and eating rubbish. Lol.

Thanks for your support thus far. It really is great joining you. Like Slimming World, but without the £5 price tag ;)

Good luck to all weighing in today. I can't wait to hear your successes xx

  • Hi there everyone, I'm a little late joining but I'm trying to fit into a new dress by the end of the month after being horrified that a 10 doesn't fit me anymore!!!

The dress is staying and I will be getting into it. I lost 1 pound yesterday and am hoping I can get rid of the other 6 aswell. Please can you add me to the list? x

    Well done Kate_pixie

    Tigerlilley1980 welcome and good luck.

I've been to the gym every day this week and done at least 1/2 hour to 1 hour on the treadmill or bikes.

Blood results from the Dr are Ok, well he seems pleased! not too sure I am as I wanted to come off my tablets for my type 2, but as he pointed out atm I don't have an arguement for coming off them as I still have 1 1.2 stone to go! I tell you once that 1 1/2 has gone, I'm right down to his surgery and camping out if need be!!
