    Hi,
Well done to everyone who's lost this week! I'll weigh myself first thing tomorrow. Had a bit of trauma with my little one showing signs of meningitis, so spent a lot of time this week in hospital drinking lattes and Ginsters sandwiches/pasties so not exactly hopeful!! All is well now so the healthy eating plan can resume!

Wow some fab losses this week!

I'm 2 lbs lighter than I was so I'm very happy with that.

My clothes are feeling looser too which is what I was aiming for ultimately :D
  • Wow, well done guys - some great loses this week! I was doing really well until yesterday when I did absolutely nothing except sit in front of the computer - no exercise at all, barely even got dressed! And then there was not much in the fridge to cook so ended up with a massive plate of cauliflower cheese :eek::eek: but it is TOTM which is so bad at the moment, it is really leaving me helpless for at least the first two or three days, will have to go back to the Drs I think. Will weigh in on Monday and hope for the best, am not feeling the love of losing so much today but hopefully I can get my enthusiasm levels up again V.soon!

Well done on the losses this week everyone, I know I'm a day late but had a busy few days at work with a soggy 16 hour shift on wednesday which has left me with a stinking cold :(
It has however assisted in the weight loss as I just haven't really felt like eating much.
So first weeks weigh in (this morning) I am now 9st11lb which I think is about a 3lb loss.
Just have to be careful now as the house is full of chocolate after two birthdays and a trip to Cadbury World last week.
Keep up the good work guys
    Lots of love xxxx

Weighed in this morning a day late 9st 1!!! Thats only a pound loss, but I only want to lose a few pounds, its all about losing body fat and toning up for me so I'm very pleased.
So trying to be good this weekend and only have a glass of wine and not the bottle! Got 1st Zumba class on Tuesday night too which I'm super-looking forward to. Has anyone been? Not got a clue what to expect

    Hi all

Kazwookie gave me the link for your thread as I need to lose 7/8lbs by the end of this month before i go to a clinic at the hospital - can I join you pleeeeeeeeeease? I cant exercise due to health but I am trying to do a little on an exercise bike everyday - maybe if I have to report here it will help - I started my eating plan on wednesday so will do a weigh-in on mondays from now on so hopefully I will have a start this week.
    Peace will be mine

Ah, i see toots also followed Kaz's link here! :)

I am struggling with weight at the moment. I had a baby 9 months ago and i'm still breastfeeding him, which i think is (just) keeping things under control. However, i plan to stop by the time he turns one and i just know that i will then start to gain weight. I am 5' 4" and weigh about 145lbs, so i am just on the border between normal and overweight BMI.

My problem is that i have a serious addiction to sweets, biscuits, cake & chocolate. A lot of people make jokes about being addicted to this stuff, but i really think i am. I am ashamed to admit that i regularly tuck into big 250g bars of choc or eat 6 cupcakes in a sitting when i make them. I buy pick n mix and scoff the lot - sometimes £3 bags at a time. :(

I just don't understand why i can't just NOT. I stopped smoking years ago when i got to 30 fags a day and surely that has got to be harder right? I just love sweets so much, i can't imagine never having them again so i wouldn't want to stop them altogether, but then i have tried rationing myself and it just never works.

It also worries me because i have had gestational diabetes before and my dad has Type 2 since his 40's. What if my eating so much now is ruining my future health? I already see my dad being so terrible at managing his diabetes and the pain he is in, and it's like looking into my future.

It's so depressing. I used to have a gorgeous figure (that i totally hated at the time) before consecutive pregnancies wrecked my body. Now i KNOW that if i could just STOP shovelling !!!!!! into my mouth night after night i could have a nice slim figure again, but i just. can't. stop. myself. :(

    Why is it so hard???

Sorry to offload. I hope i can join you. :)
