This is their current price list. There is a £63 Standing Charge. If the ball had gone in the net it would have been a goal.If my Auntie had been a man she'd have been my Uncle.0 -
Can you explain what standing charge means in this case.
When i enter my kWh usage it says it's £181 cheaper on the co-op than my current provider. I also checked the unit prices. Is the standing charge built into the monthly DD? Or do i have to pay me normal gas / elec bill each month plus a one of yearly charge of £60?
Is this different from BG, do they have a standing charge too?
I'm confused by the £60 charge0 -
For average users the figures do seem to come out about £200 cheaper, but Coop have yet to increase their prices, which for some providers it was of these same proportions. The standing charge of £63 is included in the DD pricing but is often confusingly quoted at the daily rate of 0.1726 pence. Other providers don't seem to have a standing charge.0

The Coop prices increased on August 1st for new subscribers. It seems that people who subscribed when the earlier tariffs applied are still on those old tariffs, which may increase in due course for them, but haven't yet.0 -
Or they may even fall!If the ball had gone in the net it would have been a goal.If my Auntie had been a man she'd have been my Uncle.0

The change was only for one region, with all the others still unchanged.0 -
We can live in hope Rogerb... I've just managed to negotiate a £60 discount off my House Insurance and the stock market has gone up (a bit) so maybe my lucky socks are working today! If the ball had gone in the net it would have been a goal.If my Auntie had been a man she'd have been my Uncle.0

I am with Atlantic and always being very happy with the yearly rebate of my monthly payment on gas/electric.
However recent too many mistakes and of course the price increase ,still not bad but I had a look at the CO-OP and looks good to me.
The gas and electric kw tariff are both cheaper than Atlantic and the standing charge of £63 each saves me £38 /year.
Plus £25 cash back , on first bill , I think I will change soon .0 -
Dont forget the Coop Divi points as well on your spend and 25 points per month for meter readings. If the ball had gone in the net it would have been a goal.If my Auntie had been a man she'd have been my Uncle.0
