    Mortgage-free Glee!
Update: My early potatoes seem OK (fingers crossed).

We dug up some red heritage varieties (not seed potatoes but eating tubers which we bought from Borough Market) and some whites today - all OK - no sign of blight.

We dug these up because the haulms were collapsed. Some of these had freckles on them, but clearly it wasn't blight as we had feared.

We have left the others for the time being.
:D Thanks to MSE, I am mortgage free!:D

I sprayed the potatoes with bordeaux yesterday, we had a full smith period a few days ago. I also noticed that various other veg and flower plants are mildew-ed so it`ll only take a day of rain. I am collecting tomato fruits when ever I see a pink blush and have a great mix of very ripe and under ripe fruits indoors, I am hedging my bets as an allotment neighbour suddenly lost all her tomato plants last year

That's why all my potatoes are up (second earlies and mains) dried and stored. If I leave them in any later than the second week in July, if the blight doesn't get them the slugs do !. Good idea to keep an eye on your onions as well. When blight is around it is also ideal conditions for viruses that attack them making them unsuitable for storage ! .

a lot of the tomatoes look more like water damage than blight..keep the water away from them...
It is nice to see the value of your house going up'' Why ?
Unless you are planning to sell up and not live anywhere, I can;t see the advantage.
If you are planning to upsize the new house will cost more.
If you are planning to downsize your new house will cost more than it should
If you are trying to buy your first house its almost impossible.
