It's a little unfair though as if they'd let people know items were unavailable then different items could have been ordered - it took 11 days for them to notify me and on the dispatch note it says the missing item will be sent in 1-4 weeks and i just happened to read the email that said the item has been cancelled.

LOL!! I have 15 sperate orders to pick up on saturday, think I might just send the hubby in.... been in every sat for 4 weeks now, im sure they think im a weirdo!!

My rockets have not been sent out yet so maybe i wont get them but the Moonhouse that i ordered on Sunday its on its way and i did get 2 of them and it says on mu e-mail that i am getting them both so maybe its just on some items we wont be getting more then 1

I ordered for me and a friend on my account when the offer 1st came out and boy did i have some trouble!!! I got an email saying that the Cottage was cancelled on my order and that was the free item so i wasnt getting refunded for anything. I rang up and spoke to the rudest woman, but my argument was that i had spent my money and they advertised BOGOF and they wasnt giving me my free item. I didnt really get anywhere with her but i sent an email to [EMAIL="facebook@mothercare.com"]facebook@mothercare.com[/EMAIL] FAO Sarah Lewis try this or ring and ask to speak to her she seems to be management!! I managed to get the cottage and the other items that wasnt in stock sent from ELC after speaking with Sarah 24 hour delivery.
I also spoke with Trading Standards - contact your local one as i rang the number online and was useless but then my local one rang back and really wanted to help but id already spke to Sarah by this point!

Dont worry, i had two emails like that. On one order I had a cherry cottage and a rose cottage, but was told the Rose was OOS and would be cancelled, and the other was the vet and police station sets. and apparently the vet was OOS and cancelled. Well, I went in and asked if I could take them off the shelf to complete my order, they said no problem as long as they cancelled them from my order (which supposedly wasn't cancelled just waiting on stock?!?!)
Anyway, they let me have them off the shelf and I left the store happy. Then last week I got an e-mail saying the missing parts of my order had been sent. So bascially I got one cottage and one vet free...

make sure you check your orders when you collect, they sent me 2 hedgehogs instead of 2 carry cases, they had to swap over in store, the staff got really confused at the price override , they had 3 staff looking at the till trying to work out why they were different prices...luckily they didnt ask too much
