Got all my orders waiting at the store for me now....4 orders to pick up tomorrow. How the heck am I gonna carry it all by myself??!?! lol

got a call to say my order was in early (supposed to be collected thurs) so I went straight into get two items but only one was delivered. I queried it as it said rocket would be ready in 1-4 weeks and they had one rocket on the shop floor so after a LONG wait and trying to call to check (system was down) I was allowed the one off of the shop floor now just wait and see if I am charged for both items or just one! got home to find an email saying rocket had been cancelled and I would get a refund so dont know what that means at the moment!! whichever excellent bargain just have to find somewhere to stash rocket and play mat until xmas now!

Does your local have late night shopping? Mine does so taking OH with me and parking as close as possible so my arms don't break and my head doesn't explode from the amount of noise my LOs will make.;)

I'd give them a call a back and see if they will give you a refund of half the money. It's not your fault they could only provide you with half an order. Also, I've bought bogof in store before and taken one back they worked out the money between the two items.
Call them and see. You can but try.

I went to pick up my order today and the staff couldn't have been any LESS helpful. Took them ages to get the order from the store room even though when the girl phoned she said she'd leave all the parcels together to make it easier. When they finally brought the boxes through they were battered and some of the items were opened (possibly in transit). The 5 boxes of which 2 were very large were literally dumped at the desk and I was left to it. No checking of order, no offer of helping out to car yet I've picked up orders before that were smaller and the staff were extremely helpful.

I think the problem today was the manager that was on was a trout I'd had a run-in with before. She basically accused me of lying when I said you could get a £10 voucher as well as the price-match when you phone up. It was only when I produced the paper voucher that she shut up but as soon as she saw me today you could tell hell would freeze over before I was offered help.

Got my own back though and dumped all the empty boxes just inside the door for them to deal with. I'm never anything but nice to shop staff but that will be the last time I use MC for anything other than a major glitch :mad: Actually very tempted to phone and complain - something I have never done before.

I received part of my order today (moon house) but the funfair is out of stock - it is saying that it will be despatched in between one and four weeks. According to my invoice I have only been charged £12 so am not bothered if they cancel the funfair!

The store messed up a little today with my orders but they couldnt have been more apologetic and two staff helped us out to the car to load and we eventually got everything we ordered so it kind of balances itself out.
