    Hi Folks

For those of you who have an Optimus One, and 500mb of data, is this a lot? I'm thinking for when the kids are using theirs?

Yes it is, I read a statistic a while ago that said 97% of people use less than 500mb. It is a lot for being on Facebook, browsing the internet but if you watch lots of You Tube, or BBC iPlayer then that uses a lot of data. As someone else says though, T-Mobile will stop you watching these videos if you use your allowance up, but will still let you do other things on the internet.

  • I rang up just now to find out the latest story on the Galaxy Apollo and was told they still don't know whether it's coming back into stock. However I was offered a choice of 3 other phones, the LG Optimus One was one of them but also they offered a Sony X8 or a Samsung Galaxy Ace. I chose the Galaxy Ace as from a very quick scan of reviews it looks like the better phone of the three. It has Froyo, a 5mp camera and a gps with google maps.

I rang up 0800 956 2208, Option 3, informed them that I was a Quidco customer, spoke to a very helpful man who knew about all of it, knew it should be £5.21 without looking it up and said that the discount should come off with the bill and that will be showing tonight. If I have any problems I can call back.

Thanks for the number (quoted as I keep losing the post with it in). I'm on the phone to them now as they have charged me delivery - the problem appears to be because the telesales team rang and offered me the LG in place of the Samsung I had ordered, it's gone through as a telesales order and not a web order. I should imagine that this means that the tracking through Quidco may fail/be declined and need to be chased.

The delivery charge has now been removed though :)

    Hi Sally,

You won't get a bill for the internet. If they use too much t-mobile will stop them using youtube or whatever until the next month but they won't charge you (unless you take it abroad, which means charges for pretty much everything).

If they use more than 100 minutes you will get charged though.

I called yesterday on the 0800 number to be told that the only available handset now was the xperia x8.
It has arrived today missing the additional equipment in the box and the delivery slip states a £4.99 charge for POSTPAY SIM1010 plus a £4.16 delivery charge!

Logging into my acount it states I am on a 24mth plan at £8.51 per month despite being advised yesterday my quidco deal would be honoured? I cannot view a bill online yet to check any further re these charges.

Also, I cannot see any mention of data allowance in my plan just 100mins and texts.

Has anyone else gone with the X8?

I am about to call them and wondered if I should either keep the x8, push for another handset (any suggestions which one?) or cancel altogether?

apparently the quidco prices are set up on my account and the delivery note charges are incorrect and have been credited to my account already but I will not be able to view it online until tomorrow.

I have also just been offered the first months line rental at £10.21 free as compensation for the missing armband so who knows what charges will appear on my online account tomorrow! Thanks for posting the 0800 number they have been really helpful so far.

now I just need to decide whether i should keep the x8 or stick with the pulse mini?!
