I have to say I always find it very frustrating that Tesco sells white vinegar really cheaply:D ... and then adds colourant to make it look like malt:mad: . Any family that buys it must be able to tell it's not malt. Why bother with the colour!
I could make it better myself at home. All I need is a small aubergine...
I moved to Liverpool for a better life.
And goodness, it's turned out to be better and busier!0 -
I found 5 litres for 2.20 in a Chinese supermarket.0

Being a newbie, I wasnt sure if i'd get any replies to my trivial request, but i was v.pleased and will now look for 5 litre containers. I just got a book with
1001 uses for vinegar! Its fascinating very OS. Thought u might like 2 try one using apple cider vinegar: get a clear jam jar, punch sum holes in top and put in said vinegar, flies wil b attracted to it crawl in holes and not b able to get out again better than those hideous fly papers that u hang from the light! at least u can put it somewhere a bit discreet. I must admit i'v had limited sucess with this but then theres not so many flies yet!!:undecided thanx again no doubt lots more ?'s to !!!

Hey! Welcome to Old Style. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.
There's a very comprehensive vinegar thread here. I'll merge your question to it later, when I know you've seen this post, to keep the answers together for others asking the same question. It's worth having a look through the older thread. It's got plenty of info in it.May all your dots fall silently to the ground.0
