why do people have to become agressive when they are losing an argument??0

I see your police training has come into great use on these forums. The truth always does come loose with officers of the law, doesn't it. How about you just grow up and stop acting like a child? You are seriously not doing yourself any favours at all.
Look if your willing to fight the injustices in this world FLYBOY more power to you. There are rapist and murders walking the streets and I would hate to the see the OP get 3 point and a fine for misjudging how to stop at their car at redlight and flying through it
. What adds insult to injury is the copper (May its yet to be proved by the district judge, OP and Flyboy) possibly put the wrong road name down for which the OP should walk free after instructing legal council and wasting court time to avoid the 3 points.
The district judge can burn the copper in question at the steak if in deed when they indictment contains the wrong road name.
The world will be a better place and the chav will have gotten one over on the establishment.
I am sure you would have enjoyed attending the scene of fatal road traffic collision where someone has jumped and redlight and killed someone else. Then you have to drive to the next of kin and inform them their loved one is dead. Its not bloody nice and there alot of people who cant do it.
But you carry on your crusade to get one over on the police and courts that you seem to have contempt for!0 -

I know there are some bad coppers giving bad exeperiences but they are human behind the uniform doing a difficult job.
What gets my goat is folk who read a book and become legal experts over night and then say they know better than most coppers who know nothing.
Then they are in the poo and they dont say well I know better than stupid coppers who nothing I will sort it out.
No the phone 999 and want police help.0 -

I agree. I have seen countless threads where people read up on a law, and then think they are experts. But they don't have a clue about how complex law can be.
One thing that the OP didn't mention when they said that the wrong road was written down, was that it is possible that the road changes name somewhere along it's length (the OP would have to confirm or deny this). If this is the case, then I should imagine that any magistrate would decide that the charge would still stand, as they are being tried for the offence of jumping the red light.0 -

Someone here has and no some police forces dont have a policy covering it so its a grey area.
PLEASE! Stop posting.
Whilst neither agreeing, or disagreeing with yourself and flyboy, I find your posts almost impossible to read. It's like trying to walk a cobbled road in high heels.
You say you are an ex police officer. Then your statements must have been a nightmare.0
