Hi all
Not been on here much but have still been following the thread and managed to keep to our £400 budget ! Mainkly achieved by shopping at Mr Lxxxdl but once I go back to school full time next week it'll be hard to find time to go there so I'll probably do online shops in Sept.
The freezers still have a few meals in them but we have no fruit and veg!
Very excited as I'm about to book a family holiday for next summer. The more we save in groceries, the quicker we pay for the holiday!Mortgage Free in 3 part 2 challenge - pay off £9000

Well, declaring £298.60 for August, almost £30 over budget. However due to my 'overbuying' last month, I should have no problem sticking to my budget for September, currently doing my shopping list for big shop in T*sco and L*dl on Thursday, my September starts tomorrow, need Soap Powder and M*rrisons have 4kg of Surf for £4.74 so will get that tomorrow from September budget. Can I please be put down for £270 again for September Grocery Challenge.
Determined to stick to it this time, and I have plenty of cereals, pasta, tea, coffee, cleaning stuff, toiletries, and still have mince, chicken, sausages and fish in the freezer so I am off to a good start, unlike last month when I had let everything run right down.
This month is going to be the tightest month ever, I HAVE to stick to budget this month. Wish me luck!
