Hello everyone, can I join in?
I don't know how much we spend on grocery's at the minute, other than that it is too much! Am scared to go through my bank statement and see how much has gone to Tesco in the last month :O
Am going to try and stick to £150 for the rest of August, there is 2 of us, our 10 month old son, 7 cats and 2 dogs! However we do have quite alot in so shouldn't need any baby milk, nappies or dog food till next month.
Wish me luck0 -

Had to get some cash today, went to local coop and got lured into buying smoked salmon heavily discounted from nearly £6 down to £2. Popped into freezer for a later date.
Would normally be my supermarket delivery day, but have resisted.......so far.
I have just realised that my 2 break so far has been spent in my kitchen, does that make me sad or savvy? I go back to work on Monday and have filled the freezer with goodies and part prepped meals to drag out as and when - who needs the beach LOL

Hi all,
Well somehow we have just spent £72 in Sainsbugs, quite how we did it is beyond me. Here's hoping we only need a wee top up over the next couple of weeks as really should have enough now to make all our main meals and snacks.
I did stock up on some more store cupboard items as am feeling a bit jittery about how things are going price wise.
Off now to cut some rhubarb as a spot of jam making may calm me down.
Hugs and good luck xMoving towards a life that is more relaxed and kinder to the environment (embracing my inner hippy:D) .:j0 -

bet if you weren't on a GC you would have spent more on other things as you went around.....
Today has sent me 3 invites out this week - b'day, leaving do and to a friends for tea. Luckily the two nights out are in happy hours so shouldn't cost too much - I didn't budget for "eating out" and its rare that I do (its like waiting for a bus and 3 come at once where nights out are concerned),both pizza places so cheapest pizza on the menu and share the starters me thinks.
May I ask what everyone else do in these cases? Does night out food come out of GC or do you have seperate money for these?Crazy Clothes Challenge 2012 £57.20/£100,CCC 2013 £68.67/£100 ,CCC 2014 £94.32/£100
