Just to report a spend of £34 so far this week. Am doing well so far. Next week will be very lean as well so will need to keep this up. Fingers crossed! Will probably be needing help with suggestions for meal ideas though so will be back when I know what I am left with.:D

    Hi ya,

Just got back from sainsbugs and have spent just £23.54- I usually go into sainsbugs and spend £120 each time :( however I went armed with a shopping list based on a menu plan I've created :) So for this weeks shopping I've spent £28.40 :) this included shower gel and shampoo for DH! So I'm very much on track to hopefully come under my £150 budget for this month :0)

Have a great evening everyone and good luck with all your individual challenges.

£6.75 in Mr A's today spent quite a bit this week hopefully will even itself out.
  • Gah, spent £7.25 today on nappies, cat food and milk. The cat food will last a while, but the nappies were a rip off, £3.00 (should have been £5.00!) for 13 bloody pull ups??? I usually use asda's own brand but they were sold out. Ho hum.

I thought I was being really good as I've not been to do a proper supermarket shop since my August grocery challenge started, and have been eating out of the freezer/cupboard (with a bit of help from my mum and dad's veg patch!). Then I added up all the little spends on lunch, cans of coke, things from the vending machine when I have the munchies, and it's added up to £12.74! I think I better hit the supermarket to stock up of 'treat' things for work. Although I have made do with cheese sandwiches all week in the name of saving money, and I've got leftovers to take to work tomorrow.
