First spend of 50p to report! I have a Sains delivery tomorrow morning of about £44 - they sent me some £10 off £50 shops - so I spent £50.48 before delivery of £3.50 and then the £10 to come off. I 'offer shopped' for storecupboard items, too - only about 5 things were 'normal' price - the rest multibuys or on special offer.
I shall then use the coupon in it's paper format at T's this week (they take Sains spend and save coupons) - getting me £10 off a £50 shop there - I only need to spend about £35 I've calculated, but shall buy some things like lentils and some offers to get to the £50 - meaning teh last extra £15 of shopping will in effect cost £5. I am good at spending the right amount of money too - last week when I did the same I spent £50.22 in Tesco before the £10 sains coupon and a £5 T's coupon from a newspaper (that and a till spit meant my shopping was £33.22)
I shall cancel our veg box delivery this week, I think - we have masses of courgettes and potatoes to harvest and 2 drawers full of veg and fruit in the fridge (and much more in the freezer!)
ETA: we have a pear tree laden with fruit - we shall eat some as they are, eat some poached in red wine & orange juice, make some pear & plum sponge puddings (we also have a plum tree) and chop and freeze the rest for use in crumbles, sponges, maybe throw some in some chutney later in the year... Hi All!
Please could TheThriftyScrumpers be put down for £250 in August. Thanks to all who run the thread. I am going much lower this month as we are kindly being given eggs and veg at the moment and I have a full freezer.
I have made 4 loaves so far in the BM, White, Cibatta, Malted Fruit loaf and 50/50 Wholemeal and White. I am really pleased with the results. I just need to get organised so we don't run out.
Good luck to everyone for August!GC Mar 11 £437.08Apr 11 £459.26 May 11 £485.52 June 11 £423.79July 11 £409.22 Aug 11 £250.10Sept 11 £396.14Oct 11 £382.37Nov 11 £372.55Dec 11 £332.29 Jan 12 £375.19:Feb 12 £349.58Mar 12 £279.66Apr 12 £249.12May 12 £337.66/Jun 12 £362.58/Jul 12 £317.03/Aug 12 £354.02/Sept £439.72/Oct 12 £210.160 -

Evening all!
£11 spent at the farm shop yesterday and a further £24 spent in MrT this evening but I managed to come away with a full trolley so I'm quite chuffed with myself! Went shopping on my own and took my time dawdling round and picking up the offers and whoopsies.
I had £10 in clubcard exchange vouchers for MrT finest range too so stocked up on naughty things which have been hidden away with the booze in my secret hiding place to eek out over the month - large bars of finest chocolate x3 & large bags of crisps x3, a bag of finest oven chips for the freezer (yum!), and a big bag of their nut granola (nut granola / crisp is my favourite cereal but really I find it quite expensive so don't buy it often).
I've decided to sort the cheese issues by buying cheese in forms which aren't particularly edible... value mozarella for pizza etc :rotfl:thanks for the tips!

Spent £2.77 at Mr Ts today. Can't complain though as I had a price check voucher from them for £19.02. Bought 2 boxes of pampers nappies for £20, a cucumber and a pack of tomatoes. So £2.77 for the lot after my voucher. Not bad at all!!!
Think I'm going to place an order as a new customer in my husband's name next time as there is a promotion until 14/08 "spend £50 as new customer, get £15 off plus £5 cashback" That's on quidco :j0 -
