I too have a pear tree - well, its in next door's garden but half of it over hangs my garden and the owners don't mind me picking what's on my side.

Spent £40 in Mr T's for the weekly shop yesterday (also bought 6 packets of there 341 cheese and planning on buying more!), and £20 in Pets at Home for a month's cat food. Was quite chuffed with myself till DH went off plan, and went out and spent about a fiver on tuna, and moaned we have no decent salad. So will pick up a bit of salad tonight, and call this week about £50 for groceries plus the cat stuff. Which isn't ideal if I want to be under £200 for the whole month, but we do have a lot of milk and cheese, and I'm away camping with the Guides next week, so no food needed for me.Live the good life where you have been planted.

I think I might squeeze an extra 95p out of the budget for this week to obtain some of the bargain Daisy washing tablets whilst they are going cheap. I will let you all know if I can get them.**Debt Free as of 15:55 on Friday 23rd March 2012**And I am staying that way

hi all
small spend yesterday of £4.81 on bits and bobs. hopefully i won't need anything now until i do my weekly shop on Thursday. off to the allotment later, have plenty of salad to pick and hopefully courgettes are coming along too! I am new to growing my own veg, i am currently sharing a plot with a friend and we are both still learning, but i do find it very satisfying now the veg is coming through. :jDebts @ 20-04-14 = £10,9870 -
Hi everyone
Been to Mr M's this morning abd spent £20.01 i wasn't intending buying anything other than the soap poder that was on offer but saw some other offers which I will need to buy throughout the month.
Hopefully it will work itself out as I won't need to buy soap powder for a while and should have enough Lurpak to last the month only £2 and plenty of cereal.
Leaving me £272.07 for the rest of the month/0
