How to assign IP addresses to computer on home network?

Try redoing the Manual config.
I.e
IP: 192.168.0.10
Subnet: 255.255.255.0
Gateway: 192.168.0.1
DNS: 192.168.0.1 = Dont need WAN IP's as it will get from default gateway.
Ping your own address.
/tracert google.com
Reboot the router.
If all fails, Uninstall the ethernet adapter reboot pc then reinstall.0 -
I tried with ethernet cable from router to broken computer and made no difference.
I've rebooted computer and router no difference.
not sure about the router settings? Shall I copy the working ipconfig? would this help?Help me to help you :santa2:0 -
Can you post an ipconfig from the broken one with an ethernet wired connection to the router and the wifi off please.604!0

I can't seem to get it to run a text document as with before but basically everything disconnected
