    Try redoing the Manual config.

    I.e

    IP: 192.168.0.10
    Subnet: 255.255.255.0
    Gateway: 192.168.0.1

DNS: 192.168.0.1 = Dont need WAN IP's as it will get from default gateway.

    Ping your own address.

    /tracert google.com

    Reboot the router.

If all fails, Uninstall the ethernet adapter reboot pc then reinstall.
  • I tried with ethernet cable from router to broken computer and made no difference.

I've rebooted computer and router no difference.

not sure about the router settings? Shall I copy the working ipconfig? would this help?

tracert google.com - unable to resolve target system name google.com
    Already restarted router

How do I manually change the other settings?
