I did this when it was on offer couple of weeks ago and my card came through last week..It says to call a number to activate it free from an orange phone which I don't have or to call another number which costs 50p a minute:eek: know its a freebie but just wondered how long it would take to activate it to see if it's worthwhile...has anyone recieved card b4 and can advise how long I'll be on phone activating it... xxx0

Thanks, was hoping so, their wording wasn't 100%. I'm off on holiday I'll try it when I get back - haven't been able to select my address yet!
Tina what is the number? Try looking on http://www.saynoto0870.com/ - nearly always find a way round premium onesticketcollector wrote: »I'm only saying what the ASA have said. Don't shoot the messenger.
Personally it should have been a draw. Also annoying you've got people getting 75 codes. Should have been 1code per IP address.
And probably should've been a draw, but it's up to them - they're giving 10k away and losing up to 10k on activation fees!!
1 per IP is rubbish, people in schools/work/uni halls (like me) etc etc with a shared IP because of proxies are doomed - 2 or 3 people from the same workplace could easily be on the email list - who gets it when they might not even know each other? Not fair to exclude the lot of them if they all apply!
And the speed of your internet makes no difference - they were small pages that anybody not on dialup would've loaded quickly - and giving the server loads even those on dialup probably wouldn't have had much disadvantage!
And everyone was getting the 500 internal server error - that's only a few KB! I'm on 25 meg internet and assumed I wasn't getting it (because it's pot luck) until I saw /success in the URL at about 12:25 - if it was based on internet speed I think my 25 meg halls connection that goes virtually (compared to home connections) straight into Level 3 would have been one of the best 2000 and I'd have got it long before 12:25!!0 -

Just dug out my letter there no they give you an activation code and its when you call them they give you the 4 digit pin over the phone..then it says to register the card online, hope that helps...still pondering about calling incase I'm on phone for ages lol xx0 -
The phone number they quote for registering the card is 020 8264 8311. That's a standard geographic number, so not 50p/minute (unless you have a very pricey mobile perhaps!).0

I am very confuse.
£10 top up?
if i receive the card, can i go to Asda and immediately use it, or i must put my own £5? or need to call orange to activate the card to receive pin number? as i realise that every credit card must have pin number, so i cant go Asda without know the pin number.
maybe they will send the weblink for register online activate like normal bank card.0 -
