Hi, I put another another £5 in the pot today, 2 clean fivers in there now, plus some quiddies, that have done the washing machine cycle in pairs of jeans. I will resist the temptation to keep mentally working out whats in there each time I put something in, but its early days and hopefully as the amount gets bigger, I will forget how much is there. I am intending drawing out £35 per week to put in, and any change also, plus IF i ever put anything on ebay, i will add that as well, so hopefully, if i can keep my sticky fingers away, my daughter will be getting not only her driving lessons, but the back wheel of a cheap car. Good luck to all with your amounts.
  • I haven't posted on here for a while, but my sealed pot is now full! It's a big tin that an alcohol bottle came in so can't wait to see how much is in it! I know there's £25 in notes in it but the rest is small change so we'll see. I'm going to start saving in it again but try and save £2 coins if I can.

Please read through post 1as it'll let you know exactly what to do with the challenge. Please pop your number on your sig, it helps so very much

Incidentally theposhbint, you're welcome to include what you've saved so far in your Total come 1st December.

Aww, bless your Dad with the Terramundi girft, DorsetGirl. I do hope your little treasure got on ok with his first day at school, bless him. It's surely ranked as one of every Mum's worst days when they go off for that 1st day. I can still remember both of mne and how empty the house was of littlie chatter and giggles.

Oh brilliant, Winnie in Pooh, your DH never wanted it anyway....did he? :D

Excellent Decluttering! Keep right on clunking.

Every little bit mounts up, e4rub. ;)

    Yours too, mumof3plusoh! :D

Very good, Save Dosh, that's certainly the way to save. Most of us 'forget' what we put in each time...my memory's not that good to recall it anyway! It's soo good to have the surprise when it's Openng Day!!! :j

Good to see you again, debtfreesomeday and lovely to hear how well you've been getting on. A good way to go still so keep it up.:)

Have a fun or relaxing evening all and keep right on saving.

    Sue x

Anyone wishing to join, just ask, you're more than welcome, it's never too late.

    Hello all :D

Well im right royally narked off today, just come home from picking up the wee one from nursery (which is all of 2 minutes away) and come back to one of next doors kids dad's dirty great van parked outside my house. am so fed up of telling them im disabled and its really not practical for me to park round the back of the terraces and walk to my front door so their dear chantelle/tiana or whatever their other kids are called, dont have to walk further than 6 steps to get in neighbours house.

So ive emailed the council and asked if they will consider painting a disabled bay outside my house (we are the only house without a drive in our row of terraces, but her next door insists on putting both their cars out the front) just blinking fuming . Dont worry i'll get over myself soon :rotfl:

Anyway despite having less money than my own kids ive popped 19p in the pot as I just couldnt face another day of no potting :(

  • At least 10p going in my pot tonight (despite it not being a NSD). *Clunk*
    Thank you competition posters!
  • Evening my lovely Potters

I have been missing for the week due to work and late evenings. So tired that I havent been on but I have been potting honest. :D

Anyway went to fat club last night and stayed the same. Considering the week I have had I am fine with that, not over eating but just not totally on the ball. On the plus side recieved £4 for helping out so thats £2 for Rosie and a golden £2 coin for the hols pot, its getting closer to my hols so I will probably crack it open in two weeks and get the dosh for spends, but I am a little reluctant. I did nt start the £2 coin pot until around April I think so it will be interesting to see how I have done ;)

A bit of change for tonigt too £1.24

Three weeks till my hols and I cant wait, really need the break.

I need to catch up with what you have all been upto but I wont manage it all tonight, but I will make a start.

    Hope everyone is well. x
