Sue what's all this talk about me being Scrooge (It's a poor excuse to rob a man's pockets every 25th of December!) How are you hun? hope the shoulder is coming along OK I also see you've enrolled some more pocket raiders to the SPC gang.
Hi there sparky!!!! :hello: Long time no see and it's not good!Still, the cash's doing you good and you're looking forward to the States soon, I s'pose so I'll forgive e....just this one mind.
The shoulder's now frozen so the pain's much less!
Had a pre-op assessment on Friday, ok but will now be longer due to op issues.
susie-sue a tiny word please. I see you still haven't put your number on your siggy so if you'd do so asap I'd be very grateful. Thanks a lot.
Hi again SuzytheFloozy, good to see you're still saving.
Well done everyone, as there's some serious saving going on here, fantastic! It's the 1st September today so we've 3 whole monthsto save as hard as we all can . Come on everyone and let's push last year's Team Total through the roof!!!!! :j:j:j
For those of you thinking you may experience problems opening your tins, it may make a difference depending on your opener and the depth of the cutter thingy. When the time comes, see if you can borrow one of the type where you stick the cutter into the tin first. If not, then ask OH or a friendly DIY guy to ask to borrow a hacksaw. Where there's a will though!

I started my sealed pot challenge back in Jan 11 after reading a thread on here but never got around to signing up. I've been putting a loose change in it and any tips I make from my second job at a resturant. Things were going pretty well until I made redundant from my main job back at end of June so not so much spare cash in purse. I still keep putting my tips from the second job in it as I see this as money I wouldn't miss. Anyway starting work again on Monday so will be back on it. I think I've done well so far though, it's nearly full and not just with coppers!
I was saving it to go towards a holiday that I planned to take at Christmas but that I think is on hold due to two months of no work and starting a new job. I think I will do a count up at the end of December though and bank what's in there to go towards a holiday at some point. I also decided to give 10% of it to a local animal rescue that I support.
Hoping for around £100!!0 -
