oh sue i felt so bad about that coat, me and my mum were well embarassed :embarasse least the supervisor was nice about it, but she would have been within her rights to be narky :eek:_pale_

Anyway money . . . well miss lily has decided AGAIN that the best place for our body wash is down the shower drain, this makes 6 times, so she has had to open her money box and contribute toward a new one. It has cost her roughly 1 icecream from the icecream man (thats what she saves her pocket money for). She wasnt happy about handing it over but then again I wasnt happy about loosing another bottle of body wash.

so 47p into the pot today, and i'll be out tomorrow buying yet more shower gel. I reacon our co-op thinks ive either got 100 kids or we really smell as im in there every week near enough getting a new bottle :rotfl:

Thanks Sue, I attacked it with a kitchen knife yesterday with no joy (knife's probably too blunt),,,I may be able to stab it with a screwdriver  or find one of those old fashioned tin openers that you sort of hack into the can with a sharp edge??? I was kinda hoping someone else on here had one of those tins and knew what to do with it! I guess I'm the first to crack! Ah well, at least I should have the answers by December when everyone else tries to open theirs :)
Have you tried one of those tool things that people use to crack open paint pots with? I hope mine isn't the same come 1st December - please don't say you have a spongebob tin!
    Thank you competition posters!

Oooo footie, I forgot to tell you!!! I have a confession!!

My names jakes-mum and I am a tea leaf!! My mum took me to debenhams to get DS's school uniform on saturday, we're wandering round and I see a really nice coat for him (he hasnt had one for 4 months!!) so I have a rummage and find one in his size. Carry on round, get him some trousers, shirts and a couple of jumpers and pop them in my scooters basket. Then im looking round, where have I put the coat? mum starts looking round the school stuff, cant find it so I pick another one up.

Anyway off to the till I go, pay for all my items and out the shop we go. Decide to pop into primark to have a look, and I find DS's coat on my lap . . . . oh mum must have put it there after she paid, so I pop it into the basket on top of the bag of shopping. Mum finds some nice trousers for DD and goes to put them in my basket . . . 'whats that coat doing there?' she says, 'you gave it to me you daft woman' I reply, thinking shes lost her marbles. 'No I didnt, DS's coat is in this bag' and out she fishes it . . . . and then it dawns, its the first coat I found and i've stolen it!!
Oooo didnt I feel bad!! so back to the shop we go and speak to a supervisor, amid huuuuge apologies I admit i've tea leafed their coat, she was very nice and said it does happen and seemed a bit surprised id brought it back!! Then she admitted they had 3 store detectives in that day and she was a bit annoyed that NONE of them had noticed me!!!
I done a similar thing in Mr T's, I wandered in, picked up a magazine to go in my basket, wandered around a little further and decided to try another shop for the things I needed. It was only when I was trying to squeeze through the narrow doors of the shop down the road that I realised I still had the magazine and the basket in my hand!

I was about 10 at the time and I ran back and paid for the magazine. I've never kept a receipt for so long, I had it for about 8 years as proof that I didn't steal it just in case the police came knocking regarding the great TOTP Magazine Theft of 2001!
    Thank you competition posters!

    Hello Smart_Guy :hello:

Its so cold here. I am sat here in a fleece because I refuse to put the heating on in August, but its just so cold and miserable. My washing has been out all afternoon and its not dry either.

Put a nice shiny £2 coin in the pot today, which has cheered me up a little.
Pay off all my debts before Christmas 2015 #165.
