  • Morning all!
Hope all is well, the sun is shining and I'm in quite a good mood:).
Not posted on here for a while due to work commitments.
However I have been keeping a record of how much I have put in, and it's a grand total of £26.72

Plans for today are to find things to put on eBay, think I need another clear out.

Finally get near the end of my debt free journey, it has been a long haul with not many treats for myself but looking forward to a nice well earned holiday after:).

Yep cannot wait, nearly 50% of my monthly income has been going on debt.
The way I'm looking at it is that I've survived over 2 years with that going out each month so I will not miss it when it goes into a savings account

After I've treated myself, of course!

Just looking at the figures, my CC may need to go over by a month though:(, oh well it's interest free till march:).

Your not doing so bad yourself;), keep at it. I cannot imagine how good it will feel to be debt free!

50% ?? You do deserve a treat. Well done for deciding to put the debt money into savings. That's a really good idea.

    Keep at it

  • Hey fellow potters! Stuck another £4 in my pot this week, seem to have little spare cash as its the school hols! Kids been using local lesuire centre for kids club,,its only £2.80 for a couple hrs sport or arts and craft or both!
They can swim free afterwards for a couple hours. All swimming free here for kids in hols, they have inflatables out and stuff, kids love it. They have 50p locker money and £1 for a treat sometimes,,it kinda adds up but still not a great deal. I dont earn so much in hols so have to watch my budget and be inventive with days out etc! I am still thrilled to have saved anything,,have to keep going for xmas and will be soooo glad i have come dec when i want to buy pressies !
Life happens when you are busy making other plans ;)

Don't worry Sue I'm almost certain I was adopted, I have absolutely nothing in common with my family......except stubborness, and looking like my dad in some recent photos (but I think that's just coincidental!)

A few small coppery ones popped in to my work tin this evening, day off tomorrow and no customers likely to be seen until at least mid week, which is going to be quite a nice change.
It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.

I actually had a loss of a whopping 3.8lb - checked it 3 times Footie :p. Must say it was long overdue but I have been a good girl most of the time and have been making the most of my new gym membership. We are heading in the right direction and thats what matters ;)

Thanks for all your support Sue and for keeping us going :T

You sound so very happy, kirsty. I can quite see why too. Sounds like the kiddies are having a ball, bless em.

On the drive home from a visit to a dear friend this AM we noticed a house sign selling runner beans! We love em so get 2 bags and had £3 to put in the pot!! Made my day!

Not much to add today. 6p to pot 1 and 50p to pot 2.
Going to a charity fun day tomorrow then to cinema (using the 02 priority rewards). Should be a good day and hopefully I'll have something to pot at the end of it too.

As awful as that might sound....thanks for the giggle scuba, you little devil you. ;)

Not to worry, robed, we all have days that aren't so good, I know I certainly do. Look ahead to the ones when you're able to get a real buzz by hearing several clink in - I'm like a 2 year old then! :j

Oh boy am I soooo looking forward to our runners (beans) tonight. :D Couldn't have em last night - well they wouldn't exactly go down well with curry now would they. ;)

Have a wonderful day ALL, it's a lovely start here today, beautiful sunshine. Doing odds and s*ds in the garden after DH & I blitzing it - it looks absolutely fantastic!! :j:rotfl::D ;) :j
