Thanks guys, she's fine, decided to stay at home last night and it seems like things have blown over in her area. Although she knows the invite to stay here is open for as long as she might need it.

Your welcome, as long as she is ok. Lets hope the madness stops very soon.;)

Afternoon folks, another beautiful day down here, hope it's the same for you all.

Thanks so much for getting back to us scuba, I'm so glad she's safe as that really worried me last night. As her loving Sis do tell her to take great care....and no chances! I know...you already have done! ;)

Hi Sue, do you want to come and do mine please please :D Watch that shoulder please.

I guess you know the answer to that, Footie....not bally likely! :D TBH I'm really enjoying it, but I promise you I'm watching the shoulder all the time - heck of a sore neck as a result though! :rotfl:Nah, because of the hand as it is DH's doing all the hardest work, but I can certainly achieve a lot with the left. ;) The hand is improving a bit though! :j

See you later all, lunch is over and the boss' dulcit tones hollering "you only went in to put a post on the quitters thread!" Well it was 1/2 hour ago!!!! :rotfl:

    Take care all

Oh sorry Footie, but I was joking about watching the shoulder all the time and getting a heck of a sore neck.....with the head turned to the right watching the shoulder - right?? :o Serves me right for being sarcy! No worries though, I'll take care, promise! A day or so's break now due to the rain forecast, it'll do us both good. However, to look out at the front and back garden gives us such a buzz of achievement! :D You done that housework yet?? ;) Time to get on with mine tomorrow (today). :(

Hi again Ruby_E!!! It's been a while, but so good to see you. A good idea to save the Euros, you never know, one day....! I hope you had a lovely time if you've been on holiday.

Take care with the weather tomorrow folks, I don't mind it raining as it'll freshen up the garden even more and make it positively gleaming! :j I know, calm down and I will.

Nah I told her to put her balaclava and hoodies to good use and go get me a new laptop...;)
I think she and her flatmates have been employing a lights off and curtains closed approach the last few nights although she also mentioned perving over policemen. Today its been worrying about my idiot father who didn't take up the offer of a day working from home in favour of travelling in to Manchester city centre.

Honestly my family have no sense of self preservation! :o

I have a 'forrin coin' pot too - where I work we have alot of overseas personel so I have quite a fascinating collection, but I keep all my euro in there too, and keep adding to it with a fairly large number of 2 and 5 cent coins that have been mixed up with the pennies in the tills. Which reminds me I have an envelope of euro notes somewhere in the flat, def need to dig those out before I order more currency for my holiday.

    Hi everyone,

I read every single post but don't seem to say much myself! So just to reassure you that I do keep adding to my pot, all little amounts but it is what it finally adds up to that counts! Horrid day again today out of my window, but I won't let that deter me from potting.....and it means I have more of an excuse to be on the computer for longer :rotfl:

  • Have been diligently putting all of my small coins into my jar, but today I was at the garden centre with my 2 yr old. She saw a charity tin and wanted to put some money in. I would nver say no, but this time I had to give her some really rather big coins, as it was all I had! Curses to this money-saving! All for a very good cause though, so I don't mind really.
