Lost2 I my love goes out to all of you such a tragedy. Thinking of you all.

I tried to post my sealed amount yesterday 4 times and each time when I went to post it told me I had been signed out and to go back and do it again, and of course post had gone. After the 4th attempt I just gave up, so trying again today and hoping it works as have had no problems on other threads.

Total in pot at end of November £61.12 ( all copper and change) - I know I didn't officially start till a few weeks ago, I did try and find you sooner when I started the pot but just could not find the thread, pot was started around beginning of Oct. I have also got £58 in my pound box - that I have to keep separate as it does get dipped into at moment as technically cannot afford to save every £1 coin, but hoping still the amount in pound box will grow.

I will be continuing to save in the pot not take the money out as at moment its not needed thankfully.

Edited : Oh forgot to say how much I will aim for I will say £1000, as income likely to go down it will be hard but I want to try and get to sons wedding in Melbourne in 2014 and only hope is if I save £1k per year for next two years and I know me trying to just put money in bank if income low, it will be taken out and spent but sealed pot is a better way, I plan to seal up the lid so I cannot open it and start looking around for cheap counting pots so that I do not have to open them at end of challenge and so keep them all unopened until I need it to pay for flights. Will ask family for them for Christmas, birthday, Mothers Day :) I don't know if this will work, all depends on how much things rise in price and how low our income goes, but determined to try.

I am putting on here in hope as I have publicly declared it, it will make me stick to it and not break into the pots at all. Never have been a saver so I need all the help I can to get enough for flights and if I can spending money for there as well.
Need to get back to getting finances under control now kin kid at uni as savings are zilch

    Hi Everyone

I was wondering if I could join the challenge for Xmas 2012? I have always saved my change but I bank it when I have enough to put in bags and it gets put into my spending a/c and inevitably gets spent. I would like to see how much I could save in a whole year.

    Thanks

prepareathome, I think you're very wise in all you've planned with your money, well done indeed. With reference to your lost posts; if after logging in again the sign says you're timed out (or similar), press the "back" sign about 3 times if memory serves me right, you'll then be back where you started and you WILL see your message (I promise). To be sure of not losing it, highlight it all and copy. Then clck "submit" and your message should go on the thread, if it doesn't, then go right out of the site, then back in again and put your saved post on where you want it to go - problem solved! :D Incidentally, could you kindly add another 3 to the end of your No so it changes it to 1433, many thanks. :)

Hi turbo.jet, so pleased you're so looking forward to opening your pot.

To answer your question and to all others wondering the same
    :

Everyone stays in for next year and keeps the same numbers!

Just imagine the job of changing everyone? No thanks! ;)

gonnabedebtfree, whatever the amount is, it's better than not having saved! Please see the message above re your question.

Exceptionally good, lemonpopsicle!!! :T Why not save more than just the 20ps next year?

BTW everyone; there will be a slight change in opening dates next year due to the st being on a Saturday. Please watch for exact dats on SPC 5 on Friday.
