    Hi peeps.

I have been a lurker No#992. I rarely post my deposits but I am going to try regularly for 2012. was surprised at the £64 we saved till april as we were card ppl and I thought would rarely have change.

My total for 2011 is £22 plus the £64 from april2011. I also saved up the £2 coins and was surprised that I have £108!!(though have not updated sig)so I am adding that to my total aswell. £196 is the total for 2011(opened it early so can bank it as am making my mtge op in dec).

I would like a target of £200 this yr and will try to hold out till dec 2012 as will help towards the car insurance. sorry for waffling.
    There done.

so target for 2012 £200 thans Sue.

I've added to my signature :) I have 2 of the tins that you need a can opener to open, there are some coins in there - I have no idea what or how much though, is it ok to continue using them even though I don't know the total, they're not very full.

I bought them with the intention of using one for £2 coins, and the other for loose change. I can't remember which one has what though so I think I'll stick to using one, and if (when :D) that one gets full, I'll move on to the other.

    Is that ok?

ETA: Lost, I've just read your post (and replies) and I am so sorry to hear your tragic news. My initial post appears to ignore your post, but I hadn't read the whole thread, please accept my apologies xx

Not long now! 2 days to go :) I am really looking forward to opening mine, I've even occasionally thrown a couple of notes in so I reckon it'll be a significant amount. I'll be putting it straight into my savings account, which I'm saving for a mortgage deposit.

I'd also like to be included in the 2012 challenge please - thanks! :) (do I get a new number for the new year?)
