Hi again, recurrent-ostrich, some people keep account, but most of us prefer awaiting the excitement of not knowing how much is in there and, most generally, it's a great surprise! I never aim too high with my thoughts and have always been very happy! My personal Totals are on my signature below.

Last year DH bought me undies all the wrong size (later I found out he asked my 20 year old neighbour what size to get cos he met her in the shop !! She was so worried she would upset me she went down about 4 sizes !! slippers pink fluffy ones with bows I hate pink and chocolates which give me migraines:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:I look forward to this year it's got to be better. He does try though well I think he does!! He is always sooo pleased with himself too keep telling him he can't go wrong with diamonds:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Well DH has said that he's got me 2 presents and that one he ummed and ahhed over but had been looking at it for a long time and I will get alot of use out of it and he will benefit from it :eek: I asked if it was my actifry and he said no so now im wondering if he has actually been listening to me and its a terramundi pot :eek: dont dare get my hopes up though or if its not I might cry on christmas day again

THough I suppose anything that isnt money in a card or gifts I have gone out and bought and hes then wrapped for me and put under the tree is a step up isnt it

Absolutely. I have bought all my own presents as per usual. Mind you, the only year he bought me presents they were so disastrous that they are still referred to as "The Christmas We Shan't Mention"..............

We'd only been going out a little bit. At least I saw through the crapness of their gift giving and stuck with him as he's a total lovely, just rubbish at present buying, and gets it from his family, as you can tell.

Thanks for the reply. I feel great that after a year I have joined and can now join in and not just read everybody's experiences. I can not wait for Christmas as we will not be in any debt.

Hi marco1dog, I am deighted to hear you are now debt-free!!! What a joyful Christmas this one will be! :grinheart You shoul have joined us before though as even if you can only save a few pence here and there it does make a difference over a year.
