Today I wore what has now been dubbed "foxy friday" boots by my co-workers (male environment). So I was skating along like bambi on ice across Liverpool Street station, as I was thrifty and got my stilletto heels metal heeled the other week to stop them wearing down again, and finally got to platform 10 where the station leads out to Broadgate. I clip clopped along past the smelly bins, pulled a face at some banker that was smoking inside!!!! Then as I got to where the station becomes uncovered I spied something shiny by my boot. (I had already thought about 100 bits of rubbish on the floor were coins before this). I bent my knees in a very elegant, smooth motion, crouch and back up again ever so gracefully as if nothing happened and away I came with a lovely 1p roadkill. Win!
On my way home I walk through Broadgate to Moorgate, no coins on that route.... or so I thought. Clip-clopped down Moorgate escalator as I walk down them for some exercise. I sounded like I was hammering the escalator with those jolly new metal heels hehehe. Got to the bottom and what do you know, right where everyone is walking 2 x 20p. Now then this is rush hour and everyone's a jolly banker, so little old me bending down in front of everyone to grab 40p is a bit dodgy. But I had the nice boots on so thought "meh I want that roadkill", so I held up a few people and grabbed the dosh. Then couldn't help but blush and smile a smug grin as I was now 41p up and they'd all lost out. Wohahaha.
so... 41p in the pot for me today :jDiary: Getting back on track for 2013 and beyondDEBT FREE 13-10-13 :dance::dance::dance::dance:
