Morning all, hope everyone's feeling good and set to enjoy the weekend. What a brilliant amount raised for Children In need last night, still more to be added too!!! :T:T:T It's marvellous to know that even though folk are struggling we'll always dig deep where kiddies are concerned. Fantastic! :grinheart
No more threatening to open them there pots either or it's the naughty seat for you!Cor - imagine a mutiny and all 1400 + on it??????
A rough start for your DH yesterday, jakes-mum, but all the best from here on, hubby too!Chin up and battle on.
kerri, I could almost see what happened, especially the escalator bit! Well done indeed on the 41p!!!!! :T
Well done Kerry with your input!!
It is quiet sparky, everyone's out raking cash in, although Children In Need last night would possibly have accounted for a lot.
Must dash now, at least 2 Christmas pressies need picking up pronto. See you later, til then........BE GOOD
It's getting closer folks, only 11 more days of POTTING !!

Okay, I have a little problem.
I've only just joined this group, planning on saving til end of 2012, however, I'm finding that when I need £1 to give my DD for something or other, £2 to the Betterware man etc etc, and I have no cash in my purse (which I never seem to have) I'm taking it out of my sealed pot.
I have a clear pot, with a screw lid on. The answer is in the question isn't it??? I think I need a different pot, that I can't see in, and seal the darned thing!!!
I have been reading back a little, and love the roadkill idea! I've started picking pennies up when I see them too.Light Bulb Moment: October 2011

im keeping a set bit of change aside for stamps, and little things.. parking etc.. then anything else goes in the pot... as you can see im doing well :rotfl:0 -
Hi headachesrus, why not keep most of your cash in the Pot (not transparent one!) and always keep a little aside to help with household/kiddie expenses?
Either that or save all the cash you get now and keep it for bits and bobs....then start serious saving on Dec 2nd when we restart....or after Christmas.
I can understand your problem, but you have to do what's best for you and the family. Just try to make sure you stick to saving as much as you possibly can, you can't ask more than that now can we.

That's it Cherry, you've got the right idea. Why couldn't my explanation have been as simple as that? :undecided
Right, the gifts are picked up and there's £3.48 in the pot! :j
Keep safe everyone.
