Fantastic news jakes mum. Your other half sounds like a 'keeper'. If he carries on with these work ethics then I am sure it wont be too long till he gets something more permanent xx

Ah I couldnt agree more e4rub :D He has his faults I cant deny it, but his heart is always in the right place :D Neither of the jobs start until the 1st dec but she's been told our situation re: me and my illness/disability so has promised to dig as deep as she can to try and get him drips of work for the next two weeks even if its a different company everyday. Plus with the job that his original recruitment agency are waiting to be called off, im feeling alot more hopeful today :)

I just couldnt do it!! I couldnt go a day without potting something  so ive popped the 5p I found in the bottom of my handbag while waiting in the recruitment agency bored, into me pot :) less than 2 weeks to goooooooooooooo people!!!

  • Just wanted to say hello and ask if I could be added to the Dec 2012 challenge please Sue-UU. Well done on all of your savings this year and I would imagine everyone is soooooooo excited about getting those pots counted up!! :T

I am making a concerted effort to move away from the grabbit board which results in me spending too much money and join forces with the money making challenges instead :A

I have come to realise that the old adage of look after the pennies......really holds a lot of weight (and in your cases - quite literally judging by the weight of those pots :rotfl:)

You're most welcome to join us redbull5 and BlueCow1975, it's lovely to have you with us. biggrin.gif Have great fun saving and start straight away through 2012. You'll find your numbers at the bottom of the list on post 3 of page 1. Please read through post 1as it'll let you know exactly what to do with the challenge. Please pop your number on your sig, it helps so very much

You're ready to go now, redbull5 so grab your pot and save! :D

You are so right, BlueCow1975, we're that excited we're like kids at Christmas. ;) I hope you're ready to get started. When you're on the grabbit board, ask yourself "do I need it or just want it?", if it's yes to the latter then leave it there and SAVE the cash instead!! :grinheart

Aha sparky, and there I was just trying to catch you out. :o I'll be honest and say that for once I didn't even check the actual No...just that it was there! ooops!

BTW sparks,'wouldbequalitymoneysaver has an extra zero on her siggy, the rest of it is ok.

I think saucer doesn't yet have her's on, but I'll PM her. after I've checked again.

So, redbull, could you kindly change your No to 1431 instead of the other way round? Thanks a lot. Not so organised after all eh?! :(

Night sparky and love to DH as well as you.
