"Sealed Pot Challenge 4" ~ Part 2 ~

Just made my bottle ready for tomorrows start. After serious consideration I think that it will be saved towards my 'pie in the sky' disneyland holiday for DD and myself. I already save £20 a month into an account which was towards cat vet fees but after an expensive illness for my poor departed old chap I now have insurance so on the 1st December I shall add my bottle to this account and then restart for next year. I think this might really help me stick to (and hopefully be well under) my weekly grocery budget. I also might start ebaying (difficult as I'm a bit of a hoarder-anyone else still have clothes from the eighties???!!) and add this to the DL fund. Oooh I'm feeling all inspired!Helen. Single mum to DD(7) and 2 siamese cats. Trying to decrease my debt and spending and increase my savings and lose weight-30lbs so far!

Hello folks - Sue, Footiemad... how's it hanging? Arrrgghh, know what you mean Footiemad, had to rush out to stop me clothes getting drenched and blown away in a near hurricane!
Just a few coins for me today, as I had an NSD :T. Have a good evening peeps :beer:0 -
Hi all :hello:
It's been a while since I've popped on here!
My Terramundi got full! So I opened it (well, spent half an hour at the kitchen table with a knife giving my muscles a good workout and wokring up a sweat!) and I must confess was slightly disappointed to find that I had a total of £96.55 in there. I thought it would be more but I had a LOT of 5p's which bulked it out. I did have over £40 in 50p's though which was nice!
Anyway, I plowed that into extra costs that i'd had in June, so unfortunately it really feels like it's been wasted
However I'm now starting anew, with new rules!
Terramundi now only gets 50p and 20p coins
Jelly Baby now gets 1p, 2p, 5p and 10p coins
Pound coins are a different matter again, I tend not to be able to spare them, HOWEVER I am using the odd extra one to top up my 365 savings pig (he's come all the way from Vegas!) as I only started it the end of May.
So today I have put:
96p in mixed coins to my Jelly Baby
£7.50 in my Terramundi (£2.00 in 20p and £5.50 in 50p)
Hope everyone is having a nice week!

Helloooo!
i havent been on for a few days because ive had nothing , zip, ziltch, nada to put in the potHubby even STOLE my last £2 out of my purse (yes stole it ladies and gents!) and his abysmal excuse for the theft??? He had no money for a few cups of tea at work, hmmf I am not amused.
On a better note I have won £1000 worth of tyres from Goodyear tyres via twitter, and as I literally paid out only a few months ago for brand new tyres for my baby (you may remember my slight annoyance and the cost?:rotfl:) himself has suggested we pop them on ebay. I am of two minds as im tempted to have the super duper tyres put on and sell the ones on the car as part worns (they've done about 60 miles since we bought them lol)SPC No 002 SPC(3) £285/£250 (4) £519.84/£500 (5) £768.32/£500 (6) £911.30/£600 (7) £913.23/£600 (8) £1184.82/£750 (9) £2864.04/£750 (10) £3846.25/£1000 (11) £1779.72/£1000 (12) £1596.55/£1000 (13) £1534.70/£1000 (14) £775.60/£1000 (15) £700.20/£1000 (16) £2081.34/£1000 (17) £1691.15/£1000 (18) £25/£10000 -
Hey jakes-mum
fantastic news on the tyres well done you. I would have the new ones and sell the others, either way its a win win situation and pennies for the pot or whatever you fancy.
Oh how very dare he...naughty DH, tell him to find his own coffee money..doesn't he understand the pennies are spoken for..naughty step I think:rotfl::rotfl:Footiemad:footie: 2013 - SPC no.1147...Keeep potting!!

Evening folks
its been a little wet and windy here and the sun has been out too, got a little wet umpiring tonight but it didn't last long, but had to carry on for two whole quarters with damp clothes ...not so good. on a good note though I got paid £10 squid for my trouble, need a few bits from the shop on the way home so used that instead of the card..that said Rosie has been fed £2.41 and there was a lovely golden one (£2 coin)too for the pot
Hi there Hotspur you do make me laugh hows it hanging indeed:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: its all hanging very well and hope it is for you too
Need to go to bed didn't realise the time..been chatting for ages to my bestest friend in the world
Sleep well folks and catch you later.
Well done on what you managed to say elsiepac. Think positive if you hadn't been potting you probably wouldn't have had it at all. I think Sparky would say add it to your sig so it can all be counted up at the end, so if you would please.
You will be back up to speed in no time and there is still plenty of time left to out pot the total you hadFootiemad:footie: 2013 - SPC no.1147...Keeep potting!!
