Have managed to throw a few extra pounds into the pot. Clearing my desk has thrown up a bit of change.

Hi Footiemad, I'm always quiet....it's my nature. :p Two very busy, but wonderful, days has left me playing catch up in many areas, but I got there. I'm so pleased all went well with you and your youngsters in their matches, and winning, drawing or losing..it's all the taking part that counts. You sounded so thrilled for them all and to be pleased about that, very well done FM!! :T

Brilliant news about the weight loss Cazzie! :T That is an excellent amount and I can imagine you'll be thrilled to bits with it, rightly so. Keep hard at it if you've more to lose otherwise just be delighted. :j BTW, I'm loving the sound of us having a SPC Fit Club and a virtual Zumba class sounds awesome!! One in all in right girls! :j

Hello Winchelsea :hello: it really is so good to see your name there. Well done with budgeting and don't worry, we all understand what you mean, I promise you. :)

Hiya blue_eyed_girl, lovely to see you back too. So long as all those who have been AWOL have kept time-saving then that's all that matters. :D

That sandwich could end up saving you more than you think possible dmlambert....just one word of advice... Don't fret about the Baker! ;)

Hubby and I popped into the shop on the way home to night and the total came to £1.97. DH had nothing smaller than £10 and was given back 3p and......FOUR £2 coins!!!!!! By golly did I ever move quick then and those pretty little darlings are now in the pot..the 3p too....of course! :rotfl:

Keep hard at it folks, but keep safe and healthy too. Have a great Wednesday whatever you're doing.

Not been about much lately as am still working far too much! But am still popping whatever small change I have in to my bottle or work tin. Will try to come and do a proper update as soon as I can, but I should be starting OU work for the assignment due this month next week so will need a slap if I'm caught procrastinating on here too often!

I have upped my coin limit. Before it was anything under £1 in change. Now it includes £1 coins too. I had a wee panic that there might not be as much in the tin as I think. Yes, it is getting heavier and more full by the day but there are rather a lot of coppers in there. Feeling better about that now.

I keep finding loose change around the house, another 12p added to the pot. I'm debating whether to open the pot and then keep counting how much I have in there, see how I am doing, or just leave it til I have all three filled (will take some time!) and have a nice unguessable (is that a word) amount in there.

    £4 in the pot today!

First time in ages it's been fed!
Here dead we lie because we did not choose
To live and shame the land from which we sprung.
Life, to be sure, is nothing much to lose,
But young men think it is,
    And we were young.
