    2006
    Lightbulb moment, sorted out finances and changed to 0% cards, changed bank accounts etc.
    Stopped smoking
    Now living within my monthly budget

    2007 (And probably for the next few years!)
    Throw money at credit cards to pay off more
    Go on holiday
    Save up for a house

    Not thought about this yet (not even started xmas shopping so new year resolutions not on the radar). Thanks for the prompt, financial achievements are

    Achievements

    Debt now manageable and down 2.5k
    New job which pays more and is more interesting

    Goals

    Eradicate 10k debt by cutting down on rubbish: manageable subject to (both also objectives in themselves)
    - Successful remortgage of flat, from interest only to repayment mortgage
    - Civil partnership ceremony and the price of related celebrations

    2006 Achievements
    - Had my 1st Anniversary of my LB moment in Nov
    - Paid my Car insurance & Road Tax in 1 lump sum
    - Improved my budgetting (but still area to improve!)
    - I have emergancy savings (first time in my life!)
    - Lost 1 stone in weights


    2007 Targets
    - Go on holiday!
    - Do (and pass) my bike test
    - Pay off more debt!
    - Increase my savings to 5k
    - Lose another stone in weight

    1) paid of about 3k worth of debts
    2) hit a round of golf in teh 70's
    3) maintained my original weight loss

    Aims

    1) 2007 to be a better year coz 2006 was !!!!
    2) Pay of all debts bar what i owe the Bank of Dad
    3) To hit 3 or more rounds in the 70's and one under 5 over par
    4) Maintain the peace i currently have
    5) Gain a better understanding of myself
    6) To find an OH worthy of me
    7) to be more patient with people and not so judgmental
    8) pay of the tax i know owe due to my Employers screwing my tax code up!

    i shall stop for now otherwise i could going on and on and on and on!

    Achievements I'm most proud of in 2006 :

    1. Having our lightbulb moment
    2. Paying £3243.67 off our debt
    3. Discovering Quidco, Pigsback and Mystery Shopping

    Goals for 2007

    1) Pay off our credit card debt by March 2007
    2) Save enough to pay off my car loan
    3) Design a monthyl budget and stick to it!
    4) Make an extra £50 a month for savings

    DEBT FREE for the first time in 10 years and with savings!

    1st Baby due May 2011 :o it's a BOY:j

    - have my light bulb moment
    - cancelling ppi on loans
    - started claiming fees back
    - gave up alcohol
    - gave up ciggies

    targets for 2007

    - get rid of overdraft, greenwood and vanquis by July.
    - get a better paid job
    - lose weight
    - spend more time with my family
